We absolutely love RKL! Our paths first crossed seven years ago when we moved into a house that RKL had been servicing. We learned quickly that we needed a new AC unit which RKL installed. Since then, we’ve used them for seasonal service maintenance. They are always responsive to our needs and come to our home quickly when we have a problem. Their service is top notch, and they do great work! We highly recommend them!

RKL Heating and Cooling really came through for me. I have used them for my twice yearly maintenance service on my HVAC unit and have always found them to be very efficient, professional and reasonably priced for my service needs. Just this week my really old Heating/AC package unit went out. Of course, it came at the most inconvenient time with really cold temperatures expected. I called RKL and they immediately sent out Buddy, who is my regular service man and knows my equipment.
Unfortunately, he diagnosed it as an end of life event. He provided me with a reasonable quote and set me up for a replacement that was an upgrade over my old equipment. The install team, lead by Chris, brought out my new equipment, removed my old equipment and had me up and going in few short hours. They did an excellent install job. All the personnel were friendly, courteous and professional. I am enjoying my new American Standard HVAC unit and I give RKL my appreciation for fast service and a professional job and my highest recommendation. You can trust them for your hearing and cooling needs.

We called RKL when our AC stopped working. Since the unit was almost twenty years old and at the end of its lifespan, we opted to replace the system. Robert inspected everything, explained what changes needed to be made in the air return configuration to accommodate the new components, and had his installers there promptly the next morning. They replaced everything quickly and efficiently, and even corrected some issues that already existed, like not having a gas shutoff valve on the supply line where it attached to the furnace, and vent pipes in the attic that had corroded. We had no idea the lack of a shutoff valve didn't meet code until the installer pointed it out. They took pains to protect the floors where they worked, swept up the whole area after they were done, and made sure the work area was spotless. The cost was comparable to what we had been quoted last year by another company when we first started discussing replacing the system, but the quality of work and the prompt professional service far surpass anything we have received from the bigger HVAC companies in the area. The attention to detail and meticulous work were enhanced by the kindness of the installers. They spent several minutes explaining everything to me about the new automatic overflow shutoff, and how to flush the drain pipe with bleach every month to stop bacteria from growing in the water discharge conduit. They even made sure the thermostat was communicating with our smarthome system. Twenty-four hours later, the house is cool and comfortable and everything is working as it should be. I would recommend RKL to anyone needing HVAC work.

Great customer experience! Called and they showed up within 1 1/2 hrs. Technician was very friendly and addressed the issues quickly. I asked for a quote around a couple of different items around my AC and they called back the same day with the quote. Will definitely use them again and when I replace my AC unit.
Update - Almost two years later and used them to change out my furnace and ac unit. Again, very helpful and timely through the whole process. Were here when they said they would be and great customer service throughout the process. Will always recommend to use Robert and the team from RKL!

Robert came out on an emergency call on a Friday night to fix our air conditioning unit for us. He was very quick and super polite. RKL will be our go to now for our maintenance and needs.

My top floor AC unit wasn’t working. I called 2 other companies. One couldn’t get to me for 5-7 days, the other never showed up. Everyone I spoke to at RKL was so helpful! They moved around appointment times to get to my unit before I went into work. He fixed it promptly, was super friendly, and I felt the price was great. I came home to a nice, cool house! I will definitely be calling them again!

I called RKL after coming home to find my a/c unit not working! 🥵 They were super nice and professional. They couldn’t come out right then since it was so late so I called a few other places that all said it would be next week before anyone would be available. Called RKL back and they sent someone out the very next morning.... Had me fixed up in no time. So thankful for them!

I noticed my A/C had stopped cooling Saturday night August 1st around 8:30pm. I did a quick search for emergency HVAC found and found RKL Heating & Cooling and saw they were open until 10:00pm. At 8:36pm, I called their office and their answering service answered. I told them what was wrong and I was told that Karla would call me shortly.

At 9:44pm that night, Karla (the owner) called me and she said that they can have someone out Sunday afternoon, the next day!

Fast forward to Sunday morning, this morning. I get a call from Karla at 9:44am. Karla told me that they are available to come over now. I said okay and asked them to give me about 30 minutes.

30 minutes later, Robert and Karla (the owners) arrive and my A/C was working within 15 minutes!!!!

Robert told me I was low on coolant and have a leak somewhere. He added coolant to get my A/C back up and cooling properly. Robert asked if they can come back the next day (Monday) to find and fix the leak. We set the appointment.

I asked how much I owed them today for coming out on Sunday. Robert told me that they don’t take payment until the problem is fixed and we would settle up after they come back Monday to find and fix the coolant leak!!!

We are a very happy household now due to the quick and friendly service that Robert and Karl at RKL Heating & Cooling.

BTW, we are in the process of starting to build a new house. Shortly after he left my house this morning I emailed him my house plans. Based on my experience last night and this morning with RKL Heating & Cooling, I want them to give me a bid for my HVAC system in my new house!

I had a great experience right from the beginning! The lady I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and informative, and helped set me up for the kind of service I was looking for, when I wasn't quite sure what I needed. Robert the technician that came out to my house was very knowledgeable, polite, and didn't mind answering the questions that I asked. I have nothing but great things to say about RKL!!
