Samson and Sons Heating & Cooling

This review is from Dick Colbert. SS installed a mini split as well as did a maintenance review on my 5 existing systems.

I was very pleased with the install of the mini split. The system was installed in less than a day and the work was of the highest quality. System works great!! Installers are both very professional and knowledgeable. Would hire them back any time for this kind of work.

Also had SS perform a maintenance review of 5 existing systems. They performed a thorough review of the AC units and identified a couple of issues that are ongoing that are being monitored. They will be coming back in the fall to check out the heating side of the units. I am very pleased with this phase of their work and will continue with SS on an ongoing basis to handle all maintenance for all 6 of my systems.

All these years and still going strong. I recommend these guys to everyone I know!

Mark the manager, Jose, Mladen and the rest of the team did a superb job in all respects. We were really in a bind, needing two new AC units for our newly purchased home during the middle of a July heat wave. The entire project required multiple visits. Every single person was professional and on time. Installing two units with the help of a crane was a major undertaking that was completed by early afternoon and flawlessly. I spoke with Mark personally several times, and he explained a few things I did not understand. We will definitely use Samson and Sons in the future.

I've used Samson and Sons twice over the past few years. Aside from their fair and reasonable prices,they are professional and courteous. I will definitely call them again if the need arises and highly recommend them.

Our air conditioner stopped working today and in this super hot Tucson heat, we were in a panic! Mark was booked but still carved time out of his busy afternoon to come out to the house and get us taken care of. Great example of customer service. We highly recommended using Samson and sons! As a woman I am used to and frustrated with being patronized and overcharged by businesses who deal in house or car repair. Mark did not, in any way, treat me like this. It was very important part of my decision. His estimate was good and sent to me that evening.
Mark's team were on time and ready to get to work. Each member had their own job and they started right into it. This is a very good and honest company. I will be getting my A/C and furnace checkups from Mark without question.

Mark is great. He's knows what he's doing and is up front about whatever repair is needed, and doesn't try and upsell. For example, last October we had an issue with our unit and he told me exactly what was wrong and how to fix it myself if I chose to. I appreciate his honesty and we'll continue to use Samson and Sons in the future!

We bought our HVAC unit from Samson and Sons a year and a half ago. They helped walk us through the process of picking the right unit for our home. They were friendly, informative and prompt to respond to any questions or concerns about the process. They have been great with servicing our unit as well. We would and have recommended Samson and Sons to anyone looking to service or replace their HVAC unit.

They did not try to oversell and gave us explanations about the different systems so we could choose what was best for us. Their price was lower then other companies for a quality unit. Their service contract is for two free calls per year for two years.
They came dressed for Covid with masks and maintained social distance. They were on time, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. You wouldn’t know we had hvac installed.

I had a fantastic experience with Samson and Sons Heating and Cooling. I have utilized Mark and his company in the past. I purchased my home in 2012. The existing AC unit looked suspect when I initially purchased the home. It actually lasted about 4 additional years. A circuit regulator motherboard in the heating furnace was replaced in 2017 by Mark. He came over in the evening, to help us out l, replacing the motherboard the next night.

In 2018, the AC unit finally ran its course and died on us. I was in New York on a 2 week work trip at the time. I was day 2 into my trip, leaving my wife home with no AC. I called Mark and told him he AC unit was not working. He and his crew came by that same day and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, I had the bad news of having to replace both AC and furnace units. But Mark was able to provide my wife with a portable cooling unit to keep her cool while the repair process took place. He didn’t have to do that.

Within 2 days, we had a brand new outside AC unit and furnace in the garage operating perfectly. Super quick response, amazing worksmanship! Mark and his team are fantastic! I would highly recommend Samson and Sons Heating and Cooling for any job you may need. I will definitely use again in the future. Moving to a new house next month, so I know there may by arising issues in the future, but I know who to call if and when they do.
