Peterson Air Care & Home Services

I own two homes in the Valley and I use Peterson for both. There are so many companies that just want to sell you the most expensive repair options (usually replacement of unit), but Peterson is has a truly honest customer service policy - they are the only company I trust! They always look for the lowest cost way to repair and they do it fast and efficiently. My husband and I are notorious for getting second opinions/quotes, but not for Peterson - again truly trustworthy!

After being taken in by a new hire of Peterson's and spent close to $2,000 to maintain the system I had, plus get a long term maintenance agreement. This technician was fired for his practices but the company never let the clients whom he saw know or to try and make things right with them. When I called to cancel my long term maintenance agreement and found out he had been fired, I was told the manager would call me back and discuss my reasons for canceling which I had relayed to their receptionist. I've never gotten a call. Do not use this company, all they want are multi yearly maintenance agreements so they can come out and sell.

I would rate them zero stars if I could for the poorest service I have ever seen. A service technician attempted to install a thermostat which I provided, and was brand new. He failed to do this, said the thermostat was defective and charged $164.00. I brought the thermostat to my home in Portland plugged it in to my system and it worked just fine. It was not defective. I contacted the company and talked to customer service, "Reuben" by phone and he said the owner was out and would call me the next day. The following week I called again since I had heard nothing and he said the owner would call me back. I have never have heard from the company.

have a contract with them for 5 years to take a look twice a year at A/C & Heating. Always proactve in calling me for the visits and helpful with any other questions i may have. they just added plumbibg inspectiion included with the contract. nick and derek came out and were very helpful and patient with all my questions. have been using them for years :)
