Johnny, your tech was on time, knowledgeable and very efficient. He had my unit checked out in about an hour. He found my air handler and AC in good working order and both should get me through another desert summer. He did suggest that I hose off the coils to save money. Which I have already done. We had Integrity Air-Conditioning and Heating replace our old HVAC unit early last year. The unit has worked perfectly and our electric bills have gone down due to the efficiency of the unit. It has now been one year and we had them come out to do a maintenance check. The technician did a thorough check and everything was working as it should. Very pleased with the service.

The service here was super fast and super expensive. The tech called when he was on his way, which was less than a half hour from when I called the office for service. He showed up in a mask, which I appreciated. He spent less than a half hour at our house. I called for service because one of our units was not putting out any heat even though it was turning on and our other unit would not turn on because of the thermostat. The first unit had nothing wrong with it, we just did not give it enough time to heat up. For those of you whose heat does not start up right away or the unit kicks on. but does not blow out warm air, leave it on for at least an hour during the cold nights before calling for service. For our other unit, the tech changed one wire in the nest thermostat so that the heat pump would work. Apparently the wire was connected for gas heat rather than electric heat. The cost to tell me that there was nothing wrong with either of my units and switch one wire under the thermostat cap was $170. What I should have been charged was $69 to diagnose the first unit and $30 to fix the thermostat for the other unit. Instead, I was charged $69 for diagnosis for each unit even though the second unit was never inspected, let alone diagnosed. When I complained about the price, the tech said that I was lucky that they did not rip me off like George Brazil or Parker and Sons. If this comment was designed to make me feel as if I did not get ripped off, it missed its' mark. He went on to say that other companies charge you for unnecessary repairs or sometimes even break your unit in order to sell you a new one. Wow! Who knew that this business was so full of thieves? The tech further told me that he and the other technicians are not on commission, so he does not set the prices. When I called Gary to confirm the price of $170 for changing one wire, he said that was the correct charge. When the tech asked me to sign the invoice. I asked him to wait while I retrieved my glasses. When I had returned, he had "signed it for me" with a squiggly line. What level of integrity does that indicate?

Update two days later I found out that the technician switched the contact on one of the units to “closed” so that the unit was on even when the thermostat was off. He did not switch it back after “fixing the unit” so it stayed running without heating or cooling the house for 48 hours straight before we noticed it running. We did not hear it running in the house, so we assumed it was off. We called another HVAC repair company to help us. They were very nice and reasonably priced for the service they provided.

My HVAC issues were complicated. I have a home built in 1969 with a flat roof and the house has had several additions done to it. Through all of those additions, the master bedroom did not have enough air supplying the room and the added walk in closet had no supply to it at all. the dining room was an issue as well. Integrity was the only company who would work with me on getting the air flow just right. They know venting and with a little creativity they got air blowing into the master bedroom, walk in closet and dining room! When I discovered a water leak after the duct installation, they came right out to fix the leak, no questions asked. I'm happy I decided to use Integrity and will continue to use them. I highly recommend this company!

Integrity Air has always been responsive and provided excellent service. With a recent after-hours emergency, Adrian responded promptly and was pleasant to deal with throughout. Also, in talking with Gary by phone at their office, he also explained the problem clearly that had been addressed by Adrian. We use Integrity for our regular service and have also depended on them when we needed 2 old HVAC units replaced. Thank you, Integrity!

Integrity AC has been a great company to do business with. They installed a new AC system for us in June 2013 and it has been solid ever since. We have had them back annually since then to inspect the system and replace the filters. Unlike companies we've used in the past, their technicians are extremely knowledgeable, professional and never try to up-sell you on things you don't need.
