Firebird Air Conditioning & Heating

My wife and I moved into a new house with an ancient AC unit. Eventually it came time to replace the system and we knew we wanted to go with Firebird. I've known Mark for a while and really appreciate his work and his honesty. I'm so glad we went with Firebird for the purchase of the new units. Mark came over and did an estimate for a unit that would work great for our house. The units we got work great for our house and we weren't upsold on needless things. We got a great set of units and they were installed in a single day. The entire crew was incredibly friendly and professional. The quality of the work is great and the new units work fantastically. I cannot recommend them more and will be using them for any AC/heating needs in the future.

We've had Mark servicing our heat pump for around 20 years. We've always gotten great value and great service from him. The unit he installed lasted all that time with minimal maintenance. We just had him install a new unit and I look forward to another 20 years with this one. Mark has always been there for us when we needed him and he has always given us great service and great value.

By far the best AC experience I've had in the valley. I set up my appointment via text messages, they showed up 5 minutes early and knocked on the door on the minute. They fixed everything I asked for at slightly less than the estimated price and they didn't try to upsell me, even though my equipment is ancient. They bring a whole team and, what would have normally been a half a day investment with the usual 1-2 workers, was 45 minutes total.

Mark with Firebird will come off as a very pleasant nice guy. He was helpful at first, but ended his experience poorly. He came over and looked over my AC and diagnosed it as not enough freon. The freon was fine. He then went into the attic to check the motor. He replaced the 'Capacitor' which I never authorized in the first place. He then explained the part cost $85! I looked online and didn't find a capacitor for over $15. Most of them costing 5 dollars. Up charging on material is acceptable for sure, but this is outrageous. He charged me $285 dollars with no guarantee that my AC would be fixed. My AC is still broken and i am out $300. Think twice before using this guy. Shady character.

Mark and Ryan are trustworthy guys that will do a great job on repairs and maintenance. Been using them for 4 years and my parents have been using them for 20. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest service
