We've used Simply the Best for years and always been satisfied with their service. This last year We've been fortunate to have Trevor as our service tech. Last year he installed the clean air system. He's done our Spring and Fall checkups. And today he installed an Ecobee thermostat. We have been very satisfied with everything he has done for us.

I've use this company since about 2010 when my old system needed help. They were able to limp it along for a few years until I could afford a new one. The install was OK, but have learned that it was below par. Before my recent check-up by Trevor I felt I was getting decent service for the money. After Trevors visit I feel better about renewing the service contract for another 5 years. He corrected a miscalculation from a previous tech along with an issue that was left over from the install.

Summer time is very stressful for everyone. I rent the home that was serviced today by Trevor Mccloskey. Its was scheduled for repair maintenance 5/19/23. But issues came up that needed resolution today. I was expecting someone to do a stop gap till the date arrived. But instead trevor came out an installed what was scheduled for friday, Today. To say thank you is not enough. One party in the home is not in the best of health.
Again thank you trevor for making it possible. Very much appreciated. Thanks smiple the best.

Trevor is great! He was so personable and friendly! He was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough when explaining everything in a way that I could understand the issues. He showed me pictures to back up his assessment. He is honest and was not pushy at all. I felt that our best interest was at the forefront of his mind at all times. I have never had such a positive experience with an A/C company! My best friend and husband recommended this company to us, and I’m so glad we moved forward with them. Trevor is a gem and even provided us with his cell phone number at the end of our visit! Thank you so much Simply the Best, and I’ll write another review after the install of our new unit!

Hands down, this is the best customer experience I’ve ever had with any company. They are quick to respond, extremely knowledgeable, and will do everything they can to make sure you are a satisfied customer. From my understanding, they are a small & locally owned and operated company, which means you’re dealing with the same people throughout the process, who pride themselves on their work and value long term customer relationships.

I needed my blower motor replaced, and my service technician Trevor was able to quickly diagnose the issue and even explain what caused the fault. Trevor is phenomenal! He has a wealth of knowledge, which he will gladly to share with you. If you’re ever unsure of any aspect of the service, just ask and he will give a no-frills, layman explanation of what’s going on, why things are necessary, how it works, ect. He’s a problem solver that keeps your best interest at heart, unlike some other scammy salesmen service technicians that told me I needed to replace my 5-year old unit. Seriously, it was like night vs. day when comparing which company I trusted to provide the service.

I cannot recommend this company enough. Simply the Best 100% deserves their name.

P.S. For anyone skeptical of this review, fine. No skin off my nose. I’ll still offer my experience with those other scammy companies that you should be wary of:

1) They were disrespectful. They use their “knowledge” of HVAC over yours to demean you and bully you into the most expensive options. I know it might be a stressful time when you need them, but don’t be desperate and fall for these sales tactics. Also, I put knowledge in quotation marks because most of these guys are salesmen in actuality. Sure they might have some knowledge, but it’s likely that their real job is to get you to sign a work order, from which they likely collect a nice commission, and then you’ll never see them again.

2) They upsell. This is clear in any sales environment, but they try to hide it behind the veil of a service technician coming to your house. How did my blown motor all of a sudden become a discussion about replacing my 5 year old system? If you find yourself asking those questions, take a step back and get a 2nd opinion.

3) They use some arbitrary timeline to pressure you into doing the service NOW. For me, it was, “we need to install this new system before the end of the year because [something about SEER grading changing, or some other bogus babble].”

4) They’re tied completely to one system or one manufacturer solely. If that’s the case, it’s hard to say they really have your best interest at heart. How are they going to satisfy your home’s unique needs if they pigeon-hole themselves by only offering specific brands? In my experience, the scummy salesman said they “really don’t recommend the ABC thermostat because it messes with heat pumps. You really want an XYZ thermostat.” And then proceeded to try to sell me an XYZ thermostat without explaining how or why an ABC thermostat “messes” with heat pumps.

Simply the best did NONE of these scummy/scammy sales tactics, which is why the decision to go with them was clear as day.

I previously wrote a review after my initial experience with "Simply the Best Heating and Cooling". I gave 5 stars because of my positive experience with Trevor and the office staff. I said that I would write another review after they installed new my A/C unit. This is the follow-up review. For this review, I gave another 5 stars because of Trevor and his stellar customer service, knowledge, and . Trevor was phenomenal at setting expectations, solving any issues that arose, and follow through. His goal was to make me happy as a customer, and he succeeded. An A/C unit is a big purchase, and I wanted to ensure that it was installed correctly (I had horrible prior experiences with other companies). Trevor was meticulous, and his helper Brian was too. I would recommend this company to anyone and feel good about my recommendation. Thank you for living up to your name, Simply the Best, and thank you for employing Trevor. He is a gem!!!
