As I have stated , Knik Heating is the best of the best. They and their employees are like no other in the business to give outstanding service,. Brent was an amazing young man , very knowledgeable, customer oriented as well as his Love of where he worked and constantly wanting to please his Supervisor as well the Customer, A companies first responsibility is to the customer that walks through the door or calls or sends an email for service. And believe me, if you are not satisfied with Knik Heating it’s not their fault but they will bend over backwards to get you back to having no worries about your heating needs or just about any need that says , you need a professional . If they can’t help you because that isn’t their Services offered , I can assure you they will recommend the best for whatever job you are needing done .

I made an appointment on Wednesday for Friday morning at 9am to get a quote on installing a new unit in a hangar. 9:15 I call and ask if they might be lost and the receptionist tells me they haven't left yet. No apology only asks if we can reschedule for 10. Well, I had to make arraignments to come in late to work to accommodate this quote and they no call no show. Won't be getting my business.

Had a problem with our in floor radiant heating. Called our home warranty company, HSA, who referred us to Knik Heating. Pat at Knik sent out Travis, a wonderful and very knowledgeable guy, the same day. He not only fixed the problem, but addressed other concerns that could be a problem in the future. I came home after work to a cold boiler and called Knik Heating since they advertised 24 hour service. John answered, I explained the symptoms and he came right out. He repaired the boiler with parts he had. He did some minor maintenance when he finished the repair and wiped it down. Very efficient and pleasant technician. Haven't had any issues since. Thank you!

It started with a on time visit for an estimate, from Patrick. And it continued with great courteous, professional, service, from Ron and his crew, with high quality materials, and useful information regarding more efficient methods and placement of equipment being installed. The whole team had a positive attitude, and a good demeanor. I would highly recommend Knik Heating for any of your HVAC needs. And especially if your not a HVAC expert.

If not for Sierra and David, I would only give a 1-2 star rating. Unfortunately, these two have had to utilize their customer service abilities from a botched install. I bought a complete system (furnace, waterless water heater, air ionizer, humidifier, $11K worth of equipment) on 17 Oct 2018. It is 14 Dec 2018 and my install is still not complete. Total botched install from day one!

Side note: David is invited to my house for Christmas as he has spent more time in my house fixing the initial install that he is basically family now. Always professional.

Initial installers crossed wires on multiple components causing burnt up equipment resulting in multiple (3? If not more) returns by David, they didn’t crimp one water line to water heater resulting in 15’ geyser inside garage, again, resulting in a return service call by David. I’m sure there is at least one more return pending as ionizer and humidifier were installed in opposite locations resulting in equipment not being used to max potential. I understand that people can have an off day but I have had almost zero concern from management, just excuses, assuming I can get ahold of him. Again, shy of Sierra and David, wouldn’t use again, wouldn’t recommend

Horrible customer service!!! Will not recommend. I am writing this to hopefully prevent others from using this company. My in floor heat system stopped working and we were losing heat. We gave them a call since no one else was open last night. They came out and spent a really long time diagnosing my system. The kid who came out was nice but didn’t seem to be real competent. He kept fumbling around touching stuff and was thinking my mix valve on my domestic hot water side had something to do with my issue. Even I (a regular home owner) knew it was a domestic mix valve and is not even connected to the in floor heat. After that he said he’d thought he knew the problem but had to go check and call me back in the morning. We were without heat all night. He did borrow us some space heaters (for $202 bucks) cause he felt bad, probably cause he knew $202 was a lot to pay for nothing, but when our normal plumber came over early in the morning he shook his head at what I told him and got our system back up and running in 5 minutes and he offered to come back and rework the whole setup/valves and all for less than Knik Heating charged just for a call out that produced no results. I paid $202 dollars for nothing! When I spoke with the owner all he did was get defensive and argue about it. He proceeded to tell me that he’s a “professional business” but won’t refund my money because he thinks his guy did a good job. I’m sure he’ll reply with some lame excuses like he did on other reviewers posts here. When I told him our usual plumber came in and fixed it quickly with no hassle all he did was badmouth our plumber and talk down to me. He went on to tout his 35 years of experience and quality work blah blah blah. Can you say Ego problem. Here’s a tip Mr. owner, if you have to sit there and talk yourself up to try and convince your customers that your good and do good business than guess what your probably in extreme denial. I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review had you stepped up and done the right thing. It’s a shame that bad businesses like this don’t realize that all businesses priority should be customer service and if your customers are not satisfied with the service than you should make it right. That’s what good businesses do. That’s what separates those businesses that excel from those that get by. This is a bad business and even worse customer service. Save yourself a lot of hassle and go elsewhere for your plumbing.
