Our experience nwas great with Knik Heating! Our technician, John, was very knowledgeable about our unit and gave great recommendations to make our house more comfortable. He was able to answer all the questions we had relating to the maintenance of our heating unit. Definitely would recommend!

Knik Heating was quick to schedule me. Calling on Monday for an HVAC inspection they were able to get me scheduled as soon as Wednesday. When David arrived for the inspection he described the service in greater detail, describing exactly what he was going to be looking at. After the inspection he was able to provide me with an in-depth invoice with pictures and recommendations for preventive maintenance.

Knik Heating came through when I was in a bind recently. I was informed that my tenants were without hot water so I had the company who installed the tankless water heater go out to service the unit ( on OT). The tech that came out wasn’t able to get the issue resolved and did not communicate that fact to his manager. That company did come back out after I spoke with the manager and “fixed” the issue. I believe they came out on a Friday and it lasted through the weekend. Was then told it was x amount for repairs which may or may not fix it or XX for replacement. I asked when we could get the replacement scheduled and it was a week out after already a two days with no heat. So I called Knik and Patrick came out the next day which was Thursday to put eyes on the situation and give me a bid. He could have been out same day but it wasn’t going to work on my end. The guys came out Monday and got it done. I would definitely recommend the team at Knik any day. Shout out to the squad at Knik Heating.

Hired to diagnose heater not working. We agreed to pay a diagnostic fee. Tech said the flame sensor is probably bad we paid $537 to order and install the part Even if it's a $10 part. They ordered it then returned the installed part, then I am told your blower motor isn't working and we will need to diagnose it. It will cost an additional diagnostic fee to diagnose your blower motor not working. Which is why we called them out in the first place. We have contacted another HVAC repair professional to come and actually diagnose out heater and make any repairs needed regardless of what it is. My wife and I were actually ready to replace the furnace if they had said it needed to be replaced, but to charge me twice to diagnose my heater is not working is just wrong.

Your competitor showed up today and figured out the actual problem in 5 minutes. Had it replaces in another 5 minutes and was out within 30 minutes he also verified his repairs were complete. The entire visit diagnosis part and the replacement of the faulty part cost less than the flame sensor you installed which was not the actual problem, to begin with, the actual problem was fixed today by a competent technician. I have included a photo of the actual faulty part sp you can maybe educate your technician. A burnt curcit this caused all the problems not the flame sensor and he didn't even have to tear apart my furnace to figure it out which is what you wanted to charge me to do.

Knik Heating is a rip off. I would have given them 0 stars if it was possible. So I needed a little work done after the earthquake. I went to Lowe's and bought a kitchen faucet and a toilet float valve. All they had to do was install those 2 things. It took them a total of about 30 minutes. They charged me over $750. That is just insane. How can they take advantage of people like that and sleep at night. I have no respect for them. They will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Gilbert is a knowledgeable and accomplished Technician. Extremely thorough. He tested the functionality of all areas of our furnace that could possibly be connected to the failure of the furnace to ignite. After performing a series of system checks, Gilbert methodically narrowed down and identified the true source of the problem. Great job, Gilbert!
