The on-demand hot water heater quit working and they showed up very shortly after being contacted. Polite and professional. They showed us the problem, which was moths coming into the air intake and clogging things up with their little carcasses. We'll put on a filter to prevent a re-occurrence.
We've been satisfied with their furnace maintenance for years, and will continue working with them.

We have always had great service from Knik Heating. From replacing our old furnace under an emergency conditions to general maintenance. John is always been on time which is important to me. John is very very knowledgeable regarding our furnace and instant hot water heater. Plan to stay with them.

Our heat went out and I called them at about 8am and they said they would be here by 11am. They got here early! And we had heat up and running by 1015am. The tech explained how the system worked to answer any questions I had and then quickly troubleshooted the problem explaining the process to me as he went along checking things. The tech was friendly and courteous at all times. The price for repair was also really decent. I'm really happy with the service I received from this place!

This company is a rip off. Called and asked for a quote to do an inspection on our two duplexes (4 units)...they quoted us $195 for 3 units if we bought the membership so we bought two memberships to cover our 4 units. We confirmed this multiple times and even were invoiced initially for the 2 memberships. Once we gave our credit card number to pay they charged us for 4 memberships, over $800! I called to figure out why they did this and they stated that the tech who inspected our units misspoke about the price but since the service was already completed and they already paid the tech they can’t refund us. They also did not originally specify that unit per membership referred to heating unit (such as a garage heater, furnace, boiler, etc) and not living unit which we even asked multiple times to make sure. Now 3 months later they still will not return my call, and have refused to refund us.

Please do not waste your time with this place! They also stated we were not allowed to use their repair list to take to any other plumbing/heating company so we were gonna have to have a full inspection done again by someone else if we didn’t want to use them for repairs.

Crock! Don’t let them lie to you about being prideful in honest and reputable work!

I will add the tech, David, was very professional and understanding but the manager and receptionist blatantly threw him under the bus.
David, if you’re reading this you deserve better!

EDIT: to respond to the owner. Actually I was invoiced a $0 balance invoice and a $392 balance invoice which I signed which exactly reflected what I discussed with David during the time of service and the receptionist discussed with my significant other. Check your records! In addition you stated there would be discounts we could use to offset the balance you overcharged us for then later stated we couldn’t use the “coupons” from the membership that we purchased with the memberships due to “we can’t give you services for basically free”. I’m not sure what you stand for besides basically being fraud. Plus I’ve been told someone would call me back about 7 times and not one person has called me back to resolve this. What agreements are you actually standing by?

My furnace went out last night, I called first thing this morning and John was here by 11:00 and had my furnace up and running within the hour. Rates were reasonable and service excellent. I highly recommend Knik Heating.

I would encourage everyone to do some comparison shopping & look at other options. I feel like I got a bloated estimate on both parts and labor from this company. Their original estimate was over $3800, but we were able to purchase a comparable unit elsewhere for $1296 & have it installed for a couple hundred. The difference being around $2300! This company claims to be veteran-owned and as a fellow Vet, I’m both offended and embarrassed!

JOHN called within the Service schedule window and arrived 15 minutes early. He seemed very knowledgeable and thorough, and diagnosed and fixed the problem very efficiently. Excellent service and attention to detail. Knik should be proud of this guy.
