Hybrid Air scheduled me the same day to provide me a estimate on replacing my hot water heater. Jammal was a great technician. He answered all my questions, provided me with several options and he was able to expertly perform the job the same day! I highly recommend them and him if you have any plumbing issues.
Our technician was Tom and he was amazing. Knowledgeable, efficient, helped us learn more about our system and the conversation was great as well. They called me this morning and penciled me in for this afternoon. Every other place couldn't get to me until Monday. Quick response, efficient workers, didn't break the bank, I highly recommend Hybrid Air.
This company is great to work with and friendly staff too. Nick came out and helped with our issue and got the heat working. He also pointed out a few things I could do myself to help take care of our heating system. From the moment I called the phone number everyone I spoke with was friendly and professional and wanted to help solve the issue quickly and affordable. Will use them again if need be.
Wonderful experience using Hybrid Air! Neil Jordan provided my initial consult for installing a ductless system. He was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to answer all questions prior to moving forward with sale and contract. Matt, Terrell, & Kevin worked at the house to remove old system and install ductless. Their professionalism was superb. Again, they were patient with answering questions along the way. They were friendly, efficient, & performed quality work (cleaned up, too!). Having experience with several contractors over the past months due to home renovation, this crew ranks at the top! Thank you for making a stressful situation/decision so much easier.
Do not recommend. The customer service is good but that seems to be the only thing. The Train Air-handler/XR unit they put in just two years ago already had a condenser go out. No worries, it happens. But, then they smoked me on Freon. $1,400 worth. For 7lbs. Thatâs $200 a lbs but I canât go anywhere else because it would voided the 10 year warranty on the system and I know Iâm gonna have to use that again. I called around and everyone is charging between $60 and $100 per lbs. Now a valve is out and itâs been out since they replaced the condenser March 28th. Itâs currently May 23rd and they just had to reschedule the appointment to fix that to the 27th. 2 months, No A/C. Luckily itâs been a pretty mild spring until the last week. Lazy install work too. The more I look the worse it gets. Instead of running the power through my basement and up to the attic with all the other stuff, they just ran it up the outside of the exterior wall and drilled a hole through the wall. Looks awful. Then in the basement they reused as much of the old thermostat wire as they could and left a lot of the old stuff there. On top of that the thermostat and return are in a room with no vents, so if all the doors are shut the unit will run and run because there isnât any hot/cold air getting to the thermostat to tell it to shut off. I know it canât be close to a vent but in a room with none? But hey, I guess thatâs what $11,000 gets you here.
Our Thermostat is saying "service maintenance needed". Tried to troubleshoot but cannot since this is programmed by Hybrid for Trane. Heating worked great, but now it is Summer and needs to be service after 6 months of installation. This Unit was installed by Hybrid Air in the fall of 2020. Which means we never got to experience how our Cooling System works. Why did it take too long for service to come to our house in late Spring? The service requested in Feb. 2021 WAS NOT A MAINTENANCE CHECK and we were billed $90.00. It was a quote request for gas pipeline relocation, which was not done during the furnace relocation to the attic. The existing gas pipe lines remained in place and left out as not included in the new HVAC installation contract. The quote was exorbitant. We found a company that charged so much less than Hybrid. The Thermostat now turns on & off & does not release cold air flow. We have a labor warranty as well as the Unit's Warranty. Why could this not be applied? Hybrid was only good to the customer prior to installation, because they want our business $$$! Hope this text reaches to everyone that is connected with the estimate quote and installation process. I will not sign Hybrid's every 6 months service maintenance contract.
Wonderful experience with Ryan Marston. He came to do a tune up of my HVAC system. He did a wonderful job of cleaning the system in the outside compressor. Also, he identified the rapid deterioration of my current hot water heater. I plan to have Hybrid replace this heater in the next month and hope Ryan can do the job. He was respectful, informative, and explained my problems in a way that did not me feel pressured, but I knew that he knew his craft well. You are lucky to have him as one of your employees. The technician, Bryan was awesome. He was very professional and listened to what I had to say. He was honest and upfront about the possible problem with my hot water heater. He didn't try to automatically sell me a new heater. We both agreed to try the fix to see if that was the problem instead of replacing the hot water heater. He explained everything to me and didn't talk down to me. I was very pleased with Bryan and his professionalism. I will use Hybrid again for my future plumbing and HVAC needs. Thank you Hybrid.
I had been warned for a few years by maintenance techs that my old air conditioner was old and I might want to start planning for a new one. So when my air conditioning when out at the end of August, it wasnât a total surprise. I had an estimate from Hybrid Air and got the replacement air conditioner/furnace work completed within a few days. AND I was especially and pleasantly surprised when they told me I could temporarily have a free portable room air conditioner until the job was completed. I am very happy with installation technicians and other staff - and am enjoying my nice cool house again.
