Jake and Davin did an great job drilling the six holes in my yard for the Geothermal units. Despite the 100 degree weather and rain storms, they worked through it to make sure everything stayed on schedule. Micah, Shawn, and Zach did an outstanding job putting in two Geothermal units for my home. Additionally, they noticed that my 27 year old duct work had numerous holes from mice chewing through it. Had they not noticed that, the new system would not be efficient and I would have had moisture problems in my crawlspace. I cannot explain how grateful I am and how impressed I am with their outstanding customer service, attention to detail and their exceptional work ethic. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering putting in Geothermal units. THIS COMPANY IS FIRST RATE!!

Very professional and knowledgeable company. Mr. Gildersleeve took the time to explain the geothermal product and installation process in great detail and patiently answered all my questions. The installation team was efficient and kept me informed throughout the week. I was very pleased with the results and highly recommend this company.

Just called to schedule spring maintenance and they scheduled also for fall. I renewed maintenance contract and paid at last service, and had to call to schedule spring maintenanceā€”and discovered I was able to schedule for the fall as well! At least now I can get on their books for the prepaid services and reserve a spot!

Technicians and expertise top-notch. However, be forewarned, if you pay for a year maintenance plan, Guildersleeve will not actually plan to do any maintenance. You will not be given any priority in booking and they will not make any allowances in their scheduling in anticipation for honoring the prepaid service.

Guildersleeve will never contact you to schedule your prepaid maintenance.

Customer must call. No call, no service. And unfortunately you, not being the professional and not being privy to the inner workings of the company and its scheduling demands, you must start calling months in advanceā€¦ one or two orā€¦?

Regardless of how long the wait might be to get your prepaid maintenance, you will be held financially responsible for any system failures that result in the meantime, even if itā€™s due to untimely maintenance that you may have done your best to avoid.

We used to get calls to schedule but they stopped without my knowing, and now itā€™s two months later than when my normal fall service should have beenā€¦ and now I must wait another month for service. By then, weā€™ll be closer to spring than fall.

I was reassured that the three month delay is inconsequential. However, last spring, I was told the same when I expressed the same concern over having to schedule maintenance two months out.

My system did fail, and it was because it wasnā€™t maintained in a timely manner.

I had to pay for the ā€œemergency repairā€ (system flushing) and the tech would/could not do the complete service at the same time.

Regular (overdue) maintenance had to be handled and charged as a separate visit.

If money is collected in advance for a maintenance plan, then seems to me that there should be a system in place to honor and schedule all of those accounts. Emergencies should be accepted and worked around prepaying contractual customersā€”not the other way around.

Exceptional service! We bought a home with a geothermal system about 6 months ago and on the hottest day so far this year (a Sunday), our AC stopped working. We called Gildersleeve and within an hour, Dustin showed up and saved the day. He explained our system to us and walked us through everything he was doing to troubleshoot the issue. Fixed our AC in just a few hours and left us with more knowledge about our system and how to properly maintain it. Dustin was very kind, super knowledgeable, and our own ā€˜superheroā€™ according to my 4 year old. Highly recommend Gildersleeve!

I called Gildersleeve after hours when I had no running water due to the fact our power went out. I was assured I would be taken care of immediately the next morning and they reached out first thing to take care of me. This isn't the first time Gildersleeve & his crew have taken care of me immediately as they said they would. I have used Gildersleeve a bare minimum of 10 years possibly more, needing different issues/projects attended to. I have always been provided excellent service along with a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

We needed a well pump technician to diagnose a leaky pump problem and was told over the phone the diagnostic fee was $169. Technician showed up on the same day of call and trouble shooted the leaky well pump in the garage. After about an hour of trouble shooting, technician told
us pump needed to be replaced, and the total fee was $169 + $150 labor = $319. The fee was more than what was agreed on the phone and we were not told ahead of time. Gildersleeve technician just charged what ever he wanted without notifying customer and company is dishonest. I do not recommend Gildersleeve to anyone who needs a pump repaired.

Our well pump needed repair quickly. I called a couple of other companies, but they either don't answer the phone or call back. I called Gildersleeve and Emily very professionally set me up with a visit from Mr. Gildersleeve next day. I have dealt with dozens of contractors in the region for many years and have to say that Gildersleeve is among the best. Strongly recommended!

I have used Gildersleeve for over 15 years and with 2 different homes (formerly with geothermal heat pump and now with Bosch inverter systems on my new home). I have always found Gildersleeve easy to work with. The owner personally comes out to spec any big replacement projects, and Chris is really one of the best techs around. I always use their Annual maintenance program (I think they call it an ESA) and truly feel this is one of the better proactive services one should pay for. Having worked with Chris many years, not only do I know he fix "anything" , I also feel safe with him working in my home even when I am not there. I am now a big fan of the Bosch air-to-air system after 2 years and 2 units. I plan on converting a third old unit soon. Gildersleeve has my full endorsement.

We have a Geothermal dual unit, which was having issues with water flow. Mr. Gildersleeve came out with another tech and cleared the line, fixed a collapsed pipe, water vacced, and labeled our unit which had no labels. They went above and beyond for us and were fairly price. They are awesome! Also, a big thank you to Emily! We were struggling to find anyone to help but she assured us Mr. Gildersleeve would have a look and get us back in working order! Thank you! We WILL be repeat customers!

GIldersleeve replaced my old second story HVAC system with an efficient Bosch heat pump system. The price was competitive - but the quality was superb. We are extremely satisfied with the new system, and particularly the installation team - led by Micah, Shawn and Zach - they were very professional, clean and thorough with every aspect of the job. They provided two temporary window air conditioners for the three day job. Every step of removal and installing new was explained and done with the highest level of quality.
