Air Specialty Heating & Air Conditioning

I contacted Air Specialty Heating & Air Conditioning about a split system heat pump that had stopped working. They were able to have a technician at my house within a couple hours. Dan quickly diagnosed the problem (electrical issue), corrected it, and confirmed refrigerant levels were correct. I was very impressed by Dan's professionalism and knowledge (I'm an HVAC engineer myself so can tell a good tech from a bad one). Dan is the best I've ever seen in action. This firm will be the first call I make for anything HVAC.

I am looking to upgrade the air conditioning system at my condo—so of course I called Dan Hibbert at Air Specialty! Dan is always prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He has serviced the HVAC at every home I have owned and has always been outstanding. I wouldn’t use anyone else—you can call him with confidence for all your heating and cooling needs!

I called Air Specialty for a second opinion regarding replacing my HVAC evaporator coil. They came out the very next day. Luke & Anthony arrived on time and were both incredibly polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They ran numerous tests to try and find a smaller fix than replacing the entire evaporator coil. Unfortunately the coil did in fact need replacing, but Luke worked with me and gave me an extremely fair quote for the work needed.

I’m so happy this company showed up on my initial Google search because they’re truly a delight to work with, making a tough situation much easier.

Mike Lewis was professional and very knowledgeable of my duct work and system. He easily explained the system and how to fix our issue. Great customer service!

My most recent issue with this company is I currently pay $42 dollars a month to have yearly service and emergency priority service when my system has a problem. I called over the Christmas break multiple times when I had an emergency and no one called back. AT ALL. I had to find another source to fix my unit.
Air Specialty loves taking your money but does not like to provide the service. This unit was installed brand new over the summer and had nothing but trouble with the unit. I have had service techs come out several times and still have issues.
Just to give you an idea of how they run... they installed the new unit, DID NOT install a new drip pan and the duct work was not secure. The air was pumping right into the attic. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Always call ahead and ensure they arrive when we are home. Explain everything they do throughly and don’t make us feel bad if we do not understand! High quality work and very professional. We have used AS for 3 years and will continue to do so in the future

I had to call the emergency line on Christmas Eve when it was 9 degrees and had no heat in my house. Chandler was absolutely wonderful at responding, keeping me updated on when he could get out to us, and had such a great attitude for someone who was working his butt off on a holiday. I've been very pleased with their work and every tech they've sent out. I'd recommend them to everyone needing HVAC service.
