I needed a float switch installed in my unit. Since it wasn't urgent, they asked if they could work me in within the next few days. They had excellent communication, were polite, knowledgeable, and even answered a few questions I had about upgrading my system later. Price was great! I highly recommend them and have already added them to my contacts.

After calling and getting answering service after answering service I called Sylvia's and Bob picked up immediately. It was a real person and better than that he was out to my place less than 30 minutes on a Saturday. I'm so thankful for this place. It saved my day and weekend. I highly recommend and will no longer be searching for a hvac person. I've found my person and company to service and will gladly support this business. Highly recommend!

I called Silva at 9am, Brian was at my house by 10 and the repair was finished by 11am. Brian was able to give me an estimate of the cost of repair and the final cost was right in his estimated ballpark. He was friendly and efficient. I would absolutely recommend them and I will call them when it’s time to replace the system.

I cannot express how nice Bob and Brian were, they were very professional, knowledgeable and kind! I had no appointment, I called because I tried to install a thermostat myself and ran into a bump in the road, they squeezed me in and came by and fixed me right up!

Mr. Silva helped me over the phone on a Sunday evening at 8:00pm at night troubleshoot my HVAC system and figure out why it was not working. Within 30 minutes we had the system back up and running. I cannot express how grateful I am for his help and expertise. Ninety five degrees today and my rental house's ac starts to act up. Renters own 3 tiny dogs and a bunch of hamsters and were freeking out about it getting too hot for them. After being disappointed by my regular ac guys...they were way too busy to check it out, I called Silva's Heat and Air. Mr. Silva said if I could meet him there in 15 minutes, he'd take a look at it between jobs. We'll I live exactly 15 minutes away so I dropped everything and took off. Sure enough they were there within minutes, figured out the problem in a few more minutes and took care of the issue. The best part was they charged me nothing. Yes. Nothing. That's never happened to me before. If you live near Newport News and you don't call these guys with your HVAC issues, you're doing it wrong.

These guys are AWEOME! We have had several issues with our 18 year old HVAC. A summer ago our HVAC went out on us around 6pm on a Sunday night. We researched HVAC companies near us and found Silva's. We were impressed with the 5 star reviews so we send Bob a Facebook message and he responded with a call immediately. He informed us that he was at a race at the moment but would come over just as soon as it was over. Bob came out at 10PM that night, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had us up and running again within 30 minutes! We knew right away he was the person we would call if or when we needed to replace our HVAC. This past spring our HVAC again had an issue of which we messaged Bob again immediately. He was quite busy that day but took the time to diagnose our issue over the phone as my husband is quite handy and was able to climb into our attic and troubleshoot with Bob on the phone. He had the part on hand for us and was able to leave it in his mailbox for us to pick up later that afternoon! We decided that we would need to replace our HVAC by the end of summer and told Bob we would be calling as soon as we were ready to do so. Last month we decided to finally replace our HVAC. Bob and Brian quickly came out and listen to what we wanted to do and made recommendations that placed our new unit in a cooler area to allow it to be more efficient! I was so impressed that he took the time out of his day to really listen to what we wanted and needed to ensure we would be completely happy with the end result. This is so hard to find in services nowadays! Bob expedited our process and kept us informed as he ordered our new system and he quickly had us an appointment to install the new unit. Bob and Brian put in our new HVAC and ensured we were completely happy with the result.
