Calling Steve with American HVAC for our new AC was a great decision. He was easy to contact and answered the phone himself. He came out to the house to determine our needs, and gave us our options with an exact quote. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and straightforward. I am very satisfied with his friendly professionalism and communication and I would trust him with any of our future heating and air needs.

My furnace was old and wearing out. Another service company told me I should get a new furnace. I got a bid from them and it seemed very high. A friend recommend Steve at American HVAC so I gave him a call. He made time to come out and look at my situation. He made a recommendation and his price was almost half of the other bid for a furnace that had much better ratings than what the other company had bid. A date was set. Steve called to confirm the night before, and everything went as planned the next day. They were on time, clean, kind, courteous, and considerate. Everything is working great! Thanks Steve!

Steve and his crew went above and beyond. He gave me a direct response when I initially called for a ac/furnace quote on the phone and came over the next day to give me a finalized quote. When they installed it, he was professional, responsive to my questions, and made this experience as comfortable as possible. I’m grateful for the good work Steve does but more importantly for his good character.

We got a great price on a new high efficiency furnace and A/C system. The owner, Steve, did a great job and was respectful of our home. It was a two day job and he made sure our heat worked before he left on day 1 and everything was clean. The new duct work and furnace look great. He even helped us out by hauling off an old water softener that we didn't want in the utility room any longer. The new equipment is much better and we wish we upgraded sooner. It feels good supporting a hard working owner operated business over some big corporation and the savings is real.

We love American HVAC. Steve is a guy who loves what he does and he does it right! He answered all our questions, gave us a great bid compared to some of the better known companies around here, and had his team at our house within a day of our accepting the bid. Unlike some companies who just send a team to do the work, Steve is right here with his team the entire time. He works alongside them. You really feel like you're being treated right and taken care of by Steve and his crew. We had them do a complete furnace tear-out. They replaced it with a high-quality Ruud furnace. They also replaced our A/C condenser unit and coil. In our entire 20 years of living in this home, this is the FIRST time our house has truly been cool. Our previous A/C did a pretty good job of getting our smaller rooms cooled down, but the large rooms were always hot no matter what we would do and if we cranked it, it would freeze over and conk out. We've had our new Ruud system for just about two months now and it as been heavenly! Our whole house is cool! We also asked Steve if he could add a humidifier and airscrubber to our system. In the past, when we have asked other companies about these additions, they've all said "There's no room for it." We just accepted that as part of the problem of having a small mechanical room. Steve looked at our room, put his thinking cap on, and figured out how to make it all work. When we look at the way he fit everything into our small space, it looks so nice and neat. It looks much better and the room even feels bigger now because of how cleverly he fit everything into the available space. For the first time in 20 yrs we have a nice humidified home! Less dust, less allergies. Plus the airscrubber makes us feel safer with our air being purified by a UV light. Is it obvious that we are SO GLAD we chose Steve and his crew at American HVAC? Good. Because they're the best!

I just moved to a new home in Orem, Utah. The furnace was not working upon a weekend move in and called American HVAC (who was recommended) on Saturday, and true to form from the advertising (Steve), the owner picked up the phone on the first ring. He was personally on my property within two hours of the call and had my furnace working promptly for a surprising low fee. He was amazing!!!!

Other companies were more expensive and I didn't feel they were reasonable. I researched American HVAC and saw the reviews on this one. I was hesitant because I thought they could have been paid reviews. After deep researching everyone's reviews and the company, I decided to call. Steve truly held the standard of what everyone says he would do. That includes quality work, on time and very respectful to us and my house. Steve and his employee (sorry can't remember his name) were by far better than I expected on the service, price and quality. Now when people ask me if I know a guy, I definitely will recommend him. Steve was very quick to respond and was able to swing by on a busy day to take a look at my AC unit which was not working. He was very smart and was able to diagnose the issue and helped me save a lot of time and money!

I had American HVAC install a new furnace and a/c. They were thousands of dollars less than many of the other places, were quick, professional and did good work. They took the time to cover all the carpets. I would use them again.

Steve was great to work with. He was able to make a visit within hours of my calling and gave me a rough estimate on the phone, talking me through options. He was then able to start work very quickly (which the tenants appreciated). I called another company and they couldn't get someone out for a bid as quickly as Steve was able to get started on the work. Steve answered all of my questions and made the process very easy for me (we live out of state).
