I cannot say enough good things about Mountain Air. We've used them twice in the process of renovating a home, once for installation and once for repair. And every tech I've had the pleasure of working with has been so helpful and honest.
Today, Nigel and Zachary helped me out so much with a mini-split. Literally, god bless these guys! I was into this unit a few thousand with no working heat or cooling and totally miserable/without options. Thank you so much, both of you, for fixing it!!
Last note, two bits of advice, 1) buy your system directly from the installer (you are in for it if you go rogue and buy some no-name brand online by yourself...I can't even...it's been two years of headaches) and 2) Mountain Air is a solid, solid company that seems to find a way of doing little "above an beyond" moments when working with you (and FYI, through this reno I've gotten lots of contractor experience...Mountain Air is up there on my list).

I would personally like to thank Chad, a service tech with Mountain Air, for trouble shooting and repairing our HVAC system. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for your help. Now looking forward to "chillin" this summer.

Very prompt and excellent service. I wanna make sure I leave a note for Hilary, Tony, Jay, and Elijah. Everyone involved in getting my new system up and running did a great job. Tony and his crew ran into a few problems but were able to solve them without needing to do any major demo work. They laid down rugs to prevent tracking snow and mud around the house. Explained the new system and thermostat to me thoroughly. Those guys are hard workers.

Had an issue with our smart thermostat having low power issues. Technician Mike came by and diagnosed and corrected the problem lightning fast! Super professional and had amazing tips for getting the most out of our system.

Hi. I wanted to share my experience with mountain air.
I had an air conditioner that needed some refrigerant. The air conditioner was running and would cool but would then stop. (This is important- the unit wouldn’t cool if there were no refrigerant.). Called mountain air, tech came and said it needed 4lbs of refrigerant. I took him at face value and had the system charged with r410 for nearly $500. (It would have been even more but they had a coupon to waive $79 service call with $100+ repair.). Upon reviewing the service panel on the condenser- the system only holds 4 lbs of refrigerant.
So I’m writing to say I feel I was overcharged for the job. It may have only been a pound low. (Tech also said it was 4lbs low before he even charged it- how could he possibly know this?).
In addition, if the system were truly empty, I’d expect the technician to do some diagnostics to find that leak before just recharging. (You mean I just spent $500 to charge, and it all leaks out in short order- I get to pay for diagnostics and then another $500 to recharge?)
Tech also changed air filter (with a spare I had on site) which had about 6 months of life left in it- it was fine- these are expensive and should last a year (thick pleated filter).
I called the company and talked to Becky to express my concerns. She defended the work but did offer to credit a pound of refrigerant for $118. She said the tech was thorough and on site for 1 hour 46 min. My tenant said he was there for 45 min…
I don’t mind paying for work but want to be treated fairly. A 25 lb bottle of r410a retails for $300. (You could recharge an empty system 5-6 times!). I would have expected a service call and a pound or two of refrigerant to be $300 total. This coupled with the concern that did I really need that much refrigerant anyway? I asked if the tech was on commission and she said no.
In any event- after this experience I would give mountain air my cautious rating.
On a positive note they did respond quickly.

Mountain air did a great job replacing our AC and their maintenance plan works great. A technician named Mike came by today replaced our air filter, cleaned and check the unit. Everyone we have met from the company is very professional

Zackary was very professional and personable. He didn't waste time, was in and out. I would recommend Mountain Air to anyone. Well I wouldn't tell my arch enemy - why let them have good service.

I had a great experience with Mountain Air specifically the technician, JD. We had a 5 YO Carrier system that was throwing a code. When he came to check the system, he did a really good job explaining the cost options of diagnosing / servicing the furnace as well as walking us through what he was doing for the tune up of the whole system. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and answered all our questions.

This company is awesome! They send a picture of the tech that is coming to your house which gives a level of security that most places do not. They were on time, quick, and efficient. Also very friendly and thorough.
