Been with Agee’s for 18 years, they were always available when we needed them. This morning our a/c wasn’t working, called Agee’s to find out they are now Jon Wayne and closed on Sundays! On a day when it’s going to be 100 degrees, I’ll go somewhere else.
As an employee and customer, it’s hands down one of the best companies you can find. My mom is a customer and so is my mother n law. Great company to work for, love the work they do at the same time
Old Agees customer here. Aside from the tired fake "so friendly" service when you call, they give different answers every time. Try to get someone out the same week is impossible.
Bought a brand new unit a year and a half ago, and have had issues every month. Drain line installed where it does not drain properly, outside unit installed not level, and a constant problem with the new Champion AC outside unit cutting off. One problem after the other. BUT....every time I call for service, I get pitched a membership....
I would recommend looking at other companies that care more about making things right VS. selling subscriptions and the fake "friendly" talk.
Our AC had frozen up, so after trying to thaw it and hope everything was fine, I realized we'd need a professional to look at it. Agee has serviced our AC in the past, and we've been happy with the results each time. I called them first thing in the morning and they had a technician at our house within a few hours. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Come to find out we had a refrigerant leak, and our system ran on R22, which is being phased out and ridiculously expensive to get. We decided total system replacement was our best option and scheduled it. Their installation team was booked solid, so it took a week to get them here, and we made due with our old system until then. The day of installation they showed up promptly at 9 ready to go. They were very professional, transparent and answered any questions thoroughly. The weather didn't exactly cooperate, so they had to work around some occasional torrential rain, but I applaud their perseverance. They put up an awning over the outside unit to facilitate their work there. From start to finish it took them about 5 hours to completely swap the system and get everything running. It works great, it's definitely quieter, and we're completely happy with how it's gone. They'll be having a technician follow up tomorrow to ensure everything is functioning properly and make any necessary adjustments. I'd definitely give Agee my endorsement if you're looking for AC service. They've always been on the spot and the service has been exceptional.
We have used Agee Air for years. We bought into their yearly membership for preventative maintenance every 6 months. Paid them again in November 2021 for another year and then received letter in spring of 2022 stating they were closing their business. We are now out our $300 dollars unless we want to go with this other company (Jon Wayne) that Agee recommended. If that’s how Agee treats longtime customers why would we follow more of their recommendations. They should have warned customers before taking money for continued memberships that they were not going to fulfill. Disappointed after all our years using them.
We have had Agee’s service our system for 10 years. Yes, TEN years! Last week our system died. Coils rusted and the coolant leaked. They came out the next day to give us an estimate for a new system. 2 days later they called and said they would NOT honor the price they quoted because the manufacturer price increased. 2 days later! How does a company you have been with for 10 years tell you they won’t honor a quote from 2 days ago?! That tells me they no longer want us as a customer. Fine, we are taking our business elsewhere.
John came to our rescue. We had no water for 4 days, he diagnosed the problem and professionally repaired and replaced what was needed. Very friendly and professional.
I have an older home with its original AC system. I knew it was time for a replacement since the compressor motor had to be replaced a couple years ago. I had mentioned to a friend that I was in the market for a new system, and he strongly recommended Agee's to me because of his positive experience with them recently. So, I set up an appointment for a quote. Agee's senior technician Kelly showed up on time, and I was impressed from the first moment with his knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. I could tell he was truly trying to get me the perfect system I needed, and not trying to upsell. Kelly explained the differences between the heat pump and standard electric systems that he recommended for me based on my needs, lifestyle, and layout of my house. I was more than happy with the quotes he gave me, and am looking forward to the installation. I highly recommend Agee's Service Co. and will tell my friends and neighbors to keep them in mind.
Install Review: Chris and Caesar arrived as scheduled for the installation. They were very professional and friendly. They used a heavy cloth to cover and protect my carpeting during the removal of the old unit and installation of the new air handler in the attic. They answered all my questions and explained how the new thermostat worked. They did a great job and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. I can definitely say that Agee's only uses the best qualified and professional staff in their business. Definitely a 5 STAR company!
I've been a customer of Agee's for about 15 years, since they installed our AC/heating system. They've service it ever since. They are professional, on-time, and never leave a mess. They even deal with my barking pup during their site visits, with a smile. They always take the time to go over every aspect of maintaining my system on each visit and keep me posted of any items that I may need to updated in the future, in order to keep my system running at optimal level. Great company.
Excellent service. Marcus was friendly and professional when he came to my house for an emergency AC repair. We called Agee's at 9 AM and they were at my house 4 hours later. He explained why I was having certain problems and what the quick fix was, but explained that in the future we'd probably need to replace our system (but didn't try to sell me a replacement right then). He helped me understand what things I could do on my own now to keep my system running as best as a 15 year old system could. I signed up for the Agee's service agreement too so they'll come out every 6 months to check the system. I was referred to Agee's by a family member and completely agree that they were the way to go! Thanks Agee's!
