Cody and team were professional. They were on time, clean and tried to meet all my requests with my AC replacement. Their service has 10-year full warranty. I will see how that goes.

I had a full system installed including ductwork in late 2019. All was well untill last year (2022) when I had water drip into bedroom ceiling. I made sure drains were clear and damp area did not return, so I thought all was good. Wrong!! The problem returned this year, and I checked a little deeper.
Turns out the unit was not installed level and water drains off the back of the drain pan! The entire unit is saturated in areas never meant to get wet!
On the Spot sent a tech, and initially I was told they would come the next day to level the unit and possibly replace saturated insulation.
As a side note, I am a professional remodeler andI've referred several of my clients for both repair or replacement.
Big surprise, nobody comes and no calls.
I finally got a response from the tech who said they "changed their mind" because it was 3+ yrs after install.
I'm sorry, but incorrect installation is STILL incorrect, even if I didn't catch you at it!
I will NOT be referring this company in the future - right is right and wrong is wrong.

We called around and got quotes to replace both units since they would both be out of warranty by next year and both had the same shotty install from the builder. We checked with our usual tech but his company did not have the brand that we wanted. The quotes we received ranged from $14k-$19k for both systems and varied from brand to type of install to warranty. Our quote from On The Spot HVAC came in the middle of all the quotes. We went with them because when Cody came out, he didn't just give us the usual swap for the same system tonnage like most of companies. He listened to our problems, diagnosed the issues, gave a comprehensive list of things that would need to do to get both systems working as designed, and lastly our quote included removing and replacing breakers outside, drain pan and pipes, hanging rack and ties, thermostats, supply vents, supply and return plenums, and modifying duct work to improve air flow and ensure we’re getting the correct static. This was truly a brand new install and not just a swap out of the old and tying to old components. It even comes with a 2 year parts and labor warranty, and a 10 year warranty on parts.

On The Spot HVAC was able to squeeze us in a day earlier than we expected. On the morning of install, they came promptly at 7am. They came and completed the work efficiently. Matt was there to supervise, and he even pointed out a few extra duct work modifications. This was just something they completed to help improve air flow and was not an additional charge. This is the type of service and install we can appreciate. By 1:30pm, we had cold air coming from both units and the crew started the cleanup process. The air coming from the upstairs vents dropped from 67 degrees to 51 degrees. Air flow improved drastically in our downstairs living area. For the upstairs, on one side of the house where it never cooled properly is now in range with the rest of the upstairs with +/- 1 degrees delta. Overall relative humidity of the entire house dropped from 55-59% RH to 44-47% RH.

From start to finish, this was a well-oiled machine. We were kept involved throughout the entire install process. Most important of all, what was promised was delivered and delivered on time. On The Spot HVAC exceeded our expectations. Don’t hesitate to call On The Spot HVAC if you have any hvac needs. They will do everything they need to get your system fixed the right way the first time around.

Cody was very responsive and professional during the entire process. The price was better than other quotes we got for lesser equipment. The installation team was efficient. They replaced two units inside and out, replaced some vents, rerouted a couple ducts and cleaned up all in 4 hours. I would highly recommend On The Spot.

Was able to do the job a day early as our old Heat Pump had died. The new Trane system is MUCH quieter than the old Trane system as the indoor unit is located in a hallway closet. The cooling feels better than the old system.

We received quotes from 5 different companies for the replacement of our unit. We needed new everything: Compressor, Coil, Furnace, etc. These guys were extremely competitive. I was concerned about whether the quality of equipment or work might be lacking since the pricing was lower than other companies. Cody was super knowledgeable and very honest about the pros and cons of other options. Unlike other companies, he didn't try to sell on fear or by badmouthing A/C brands. After reading all the 5-star reviews and based on my conversations with Cody we moved forward with On The Spot. I could not be happier!!! The installed everything with excellence but the biggest thing was the follow-up and attention to our satisfaction. Cody followed up constantly to make sure the home was cooling and stabilizing. It turned out that we discovered an issue with our duct work (unrelated to On The Spot) that we were unaware of. His team came out immediately and addressed it. If you are in the market for a replacement A/C I wouldn't look any further than On The Spot.

Start to Finish 5 STAR SERVICE! I received 7 other bids on replacing my entire system as it was 17 years old. I got a flyer from ValPack and on a whim decided to get one more bid because I was having doubts over the previous group I thought I had thought I had elected. Cody received my request and immediately contacted me and came and visited me on Monday morning. He went over all my options, extremely low key and informative and before he left, I knew I had FINALLY found the company I was looking for to replace my system. Cody was always responsive and provided me every bit of information. It was installed today and his crew is EXCEPTIONAL. They are extremely detailed oriented and FAST. They were in by 7 am (as I was promised) and finished by 1 and I had a big job!

PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Cody. I have had a lot of experience with contractors and this is the best group I have EVER seen hands down! Don't waste your time calling others and falling for their sleezy sales tactics. Whether you need service or need a completely new system you can't go wrong calling On the Spot HVAC!

Every single employee we have had the pleasure of having in our home has been courteous, professional, and prompt. I have never had an AC company that comes the same day you call them. They even come and change your filters for free as often as you need when you get a whole system replacement for the first year! We love On The Spot! They were literally $2000 cheaper than everyone else we called and had the job done in less than 4 hours. We tell everyone we know to use them.

Absolutely the most professional HVAC company I have ever used! ( I'M 87 AND HAVE DEALT WITH MANY HVAC COMPANIES THROUGHOUT THE YEARS). ON THE SPOT were on time, even during the last ice period in Plano, and I had a new Trane Heat Pump system in three hours. Everyone in the crew were PLEASANT and worked as a team. Work area in our garage was immaculate when the crew had finished. The team supervisor checked everything to make sure it was working properly. He set up our new thermostat to our WIFI system. I can handle the heating and cooling via Alexa and/or my mobile phone anywhere in the world. It was perfection dealing with Cody from the bid to the implementation of the system. Our old Trane HVAC was with us for 17 years with nothing major happening except semi-annual system check. Almost forgot to mention that there were other bidders, BUT POSTIVELY NO ONE WAS AS PROFESSIONAL AS CODY AND HIS PERSONNEL!
