First Don Lee came to my rescue after I had been waiting for another company to come out all day. I contacted them of course on a Friday afternoon with a non working air conditioner when the others let me down. Long story short Don Lee came out as soon as he finished with another customer ready to help. He was able to replace a part that would get me through for awhile. He then offered to leave the part in the unit since it did make it work, and pay no service fee, or for the part if I decided to replace the unit with Garner. We talked for awhile, he was very patient answering my questions here again it is Friday evening by now. He left without asking for payment with me 90% sure I was going to just replace the 12-13 year old system, but I wanted to think about it over night. He did write up a "Proposal & Agreement" with all the costs and what Garner A/C would provide. I did some investigation, spoke with a friend who had recommended them to me several years ago and called them Monday morning to discuss further with Karen and scheduled installation for today. Don Lee is very knowledgeable of the systems, he explained the differences between heat pump, other systems and was just so nice, he went into the attic to see what was there and how a new system could replace the old easily. Don was very knowledgable, nice and gave me a feeling of confidence he is an honest, caring person. I rate him top notch two thumbs up guy.

AC went out on a 100 degree day. Garner came out, inspected, and gave me several options to get it going. I thought I was going to have to replace my system! I opted for the Platinum repair package, and am totally satisfied.
Update: October 6, 2020
Well, we were warned that the repair may or may not extend the life of our system, but it helped. It finally stopped cooling a couple of days ago. We knew it was coming, so we got a quote for a new system at the time of repair. The wife and I were just hoping our old system would have lasted until the end of the year.
Luckily, we were able to get the quoted system installed today, AND get the repair credited towards the install! Ethan, Jason, and Chris knocked it out of the park! Prompt, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you for the quality installation!

I can't believe my electricity bill!
Dec. 2019 usage was 1841 kWh
Dec. 2020 usage was 998 kWh
Over a 43% reduction!! I can't wait to see what I'll be saving in the summer! Thank you guys again for a great product install!

My A/C went out late on the July 4th holiday. Garner was very responsive and was here first thing the next day even though it was a Sunday. Two years ago I got a new until and the warranty had just expired. Since Garner is such a reliable company they covered the part and the labor. We had a technician come out to diagnose an issue with our AC. While the service was good, the quoted repair cost was not. Garner's quote came back at ~$2.6K compared to ~$1.7K, based on quotes from 3 other companies. I'm inclined to believe that we were given an incorrect quote, based on Garner's stellar reviews here, but we ultimately went with another company.
Edit: To clarify, the quoted repair included the replacement of 1) the motor at $2,205; and 2) the capacitor at $364.
