Called another company. They charged $150 just to show up. Then they wanted to charge me $951 on top of that to fix my AC. I called A Better Deal. They came out at 8pm that night, charged $25 for the house call, and repaired my AC for $245. AC is currently working great. Wish I had remembered the name sooner. I now have the business card taped to the AC.

Our AC went out Sunday night, and we anticipated a miserable night. But we called A Better Deal, and they came out and fixed it at 11:15 p.m. with no extra charge. We highly recommend them!

Summary: He bald-face lies to get business. He caused *extensive* damage and walked away. I could call CPS on his parenting. **** First, he lied to me about my warranty. He said I had to get service from him only - no others - twice a year to stay under the warranty. Another A/C company assured me that wasn't true; I purchased the warranty when I purchased the new system. He was lying through is teeth to get more business. **** Next, he damaged the humidifier's water line during a routine check. (Bad design; it was in the way). That winter when the heater came on, the waterline ruptured, causing extensive damage to ceiling, crown molding, and walls. When I first brought this to his attention, he was apologetic. Then he remembered he hadn't written an invoice for that work, and immediately for got it ever happened. Insurance won't pay when it's clearly the fault of a tradesman, so I was out thousands of dollars. **** He let his pre-school child wander around my house - without my knowledge - without supervision. I was shocked to find a half-pint stranger going through my stuff. (My house is NOT childproof!) Is this professional? Is this a good parent? **** He may Talk that he's a Christian, but clearly he doesn't Walk in his business.

Fast, friendly, honest. Andrew, the owner, stays personally involved and is a genius! I have many rental properties and use them routinely. He has saved me thousands by finding things that are broken before they actually die and wreck havoc. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful they are! If you have an emergency, they will work you in even if they have to work into the wee hours to do it. If you want someone who will actually return your call and show up, you've got the right company, right here.

Not Reliable!! We were scheduled for them to come between 3-5pm. After no one showing up, we called the office at 6pm. We were told the service tech was finishing at another job and would be there within an hour. After two hours (8pm) we received a call saying they they were on their way and would arrive within 30 minutes. At 8:15pm, the tech texted to say he was still 20 mins out. He never did show, never called again. We never heard from anyone to cancel or apologize. Not acceptable. Why tell us you’re on the way, when you’re obviously not?! Our time is valuable. If they had called to reschedule, we would have understood...sometimes jobs run longer than expected. But we feel like the strung us along all evening.

If could give them a zero, I would. They treated me with the utmost disrespect. Kirsten BARELY returned my calls. My tub leaked for two weeks...I mean running like it was on. Sent some old grumpy man who Kirsten had to dismiss for the day due to his attitude. Finally, and weeks later Andrew came and installed something backwards. I had to ask if race had anything to do with my treatment because they blatantly showed me with any service that they die NOT want my business. Kirsten eventually fraudulently cancelled my service siting that I refused to pay the technician... a bald face lie. I asked him to call Kirsten to see if I could get a waiver on the SEVENTY FIVE DOLLAR FEE (yes... higher than many) due to the fact that a tech was sent on a know pre-existing and non-coverable issue. They came out same day to care for my grandma’s heat. It was during the snow storm, I was out of town and I needed someone to help me. They fixed her up, didn’t charge her a dime and then even came back several days later to make sure she was okay and the heat was still working. I couldn’t have asked for more.

A Better Deal was recommended by a friend and they were spot on. A Better Deal squeezed us in last minute and Jason (the service tech) kept us informed every step of the way during maintenance and was kind. A Better Deal has a new customer.

I've had a lot of issues with my system that was replaced through them, so I will not provide a 5-star review, but this is an ethical company and they stand firmly behind their warranty so anytime I've had issues they are quick to repair it free of charge, as long as I continue to do my twice-a-year maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company for heating or cooling repairs or replacement.

I can't recommend this company for their AC warranty services. Not once did they make it to a call on time, which is important because my compressor doesn't work and when they would show up hours late it would be working fine. It's been 3 weeks and my issue is not resolved. They claim because they can't catch it in the act there is nothing they can do so I should replace my whole system.
