The owner/operator of this company always answers or returns my calls and promptly sends technicians to our residence to resolve any issues. He often does the work himself. I've used his services for years and I highly recommend this company.
They might be good at residential, but they did little to no work for our commercial business. We had another AC company come out 2 weeks after and the other company remarked that it looked like work had not been done on our space in years. Our AC now works fine.
The people at A Better Deal , are fair an up right people to work with , we have used this company for several years an they have always done a fine job for us . We thank you all for our knew heat pump an your quick response to our need .
I needed a service call because I was concerned I was low on my refrigerant. There were no issues with the on-time arrival. The $25 charge to come out and perform basic troubleshooting was a very fair price. Where it went down hill is when the A/C guy informed me that it would cost $250 to add Freon....I looked at him and laughed. They don't even charge by the pound. You could call every other A/C repair company in the DFW area and they will all charge roughly between $50-$60 per pound. There is absolutely no reason to charge $250 for 1-2 pounds of Freon, except as a way of price gouging. If you suspect you are low on refrigerant and need a charge, don't even bother calling these guys.
Here is what I love about ABD. I have used them for several years. They have always worked with me to make sure I was taken care of in the short term as well as long term. They are friendly, caring, sympathetic and willing to work with me. Because of this I will always use them for my HVAC needs.
I would be very wary of any quote they give you. Make sure you get a second opinion before forking over any amount of cash. Their quote was double any others. Plus their tech was more interested in getting us go buy and entire new unit than he was actually fixing the issue.
Very impressed with Better Deal HVAC and recommend them to anyone who needs repairs and new systems. They solved a zoning problem in my home in the peak of the summer heat with same day service. They gave a very competitive quote for an upgrade to my HVAC with high-qual Lennox equipment.
A/C stopped working late evening on hottest day of year (so far). Agreed to come out overnight, got here little before 4am. Fix turned out to be basically a system reset. Didn't even charge me for service call. Very friendly and great customer service. Will definitely use in future.
Same day service - the technician came out and looked at my AC the day I called. The price they quoted me for fixing it was $250 lower than a quote from another company (OC Services) for the exact same fix. Very satisfied customer. A+
Andrew is so knowledgeable, professional and truly wants the best for the customer. He fixed our issue in under 15 minutes, the same issue three other companies never noticed. Thank you Andrew!
