Wow! Top notch service. Our A/C upstairs went out, which is always stressful. It was over 100 degrees out and we have multiple animals, a toddler and 2 kids. Our toddlers daycare owner recommended this company. Her A/C went out on a Sunday and they fixed her up very quickly and she raved about them. (Shawn was who assisted!) We called and they came within an hour! Took him about 10 minutes to diagnose and about 35 to fix it! Greg was who helped us. He was great! Seemed very knowledgeable. We had freon put in by another company not too long ago and Greg told us that too much was put in and could've been the cause of the issue. It was VERY fairly priced and quick! Our new "go-to" company! You won't regret calling them.

Our upstairs A/C was blowing hot air, so I found an AC contractor through one of the popular online service-matching portals. The company was prompt to send a technician to assess the problem. After an hour of diagnosis, the technician informed me that the compressor for the unit has burned out and I need to replace it. The company said they can offer me a great deal to replace the whole condenser unit with a brand new one. I was not convinced by the assessment and wanted to get a second opinion. One of my friends (and neighbor) recommended "A Better Deal" and I called them up for help. Andrew visited at the scheduled time and found that the refrigerant was low and there was a blockage in the tube resulting in the air not getting cooled. He replaced the refrigerant dryer/filter and the problem was fixed. He charged me a reasonable fee for the refrigerant and the repair that was a fraction of the price quoted by the previous company. I am very satisfied by the excellent diagnosis and service provide by Andrew, as honesty is the key in doing business and building client relationship. Glad I found "A Better Deal".

If I could give 10 stars I would! I asked for quotes on a new HVAC system which he’ll give me but spent 3 hrs on my unit to see if I even needed a new unit. Now I may have a choice to go new or keep the present unit for 3 to 5 years! The best part he wouldn’t let me pay for the time doing the diagnostics. This means Berkey’s hasn’t really been taking care of a unit I purchased from them 10+ years ago and they supposedly service for 11 years. If in fact I need to replace A Better Deal has my business! If I get to keep awhile longer I will use their service department for the twice yearly check up.

We have been using A Better Deal for a while now. Today woke up to the power to the thermostat not working. Called them and within 45 minutes there was a technician at the door. Within 15 minutes troubleshot to ground in the attic unit displaced and wiring shorted. 20 minutes later back in business. Total charge with them is always extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this company for their expertise and honestly in a very hit and miss business.

So naturally after that attack, I was super nervous about bringing anyone else out.

The tech from A Better Deal came out the same day. He was extremely nice and professional. Got my AC fixed in literally no time. It’s so refreshing to have someone walk into your home and treat you kindly and respectfully. We will be bringing our business to them from now on.
