Kade and Eric were phenomenal! They updated us on every step of the process, and when the project was complete they went over what was replaced and how to perform basic preventative maintenance. They covered and protected all flooring while performing deinstall and install of equipment. We had a final recap of everything performed. Highly recommend this company!

I asked for recommendations and they were the third place I called but the first to act like they cared about my issue. They scheduled me quickly at a better price and even called shortly after to squeeze me in the day of. Mike was great and did the work quickly and very friendly. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Well, as pleased as the situation allowed. I would definitely recommend them highly.

I hired Honest AC to install a new Carrier 3.5 ton AC system for my home to replace our 2004 Carrier builder's grade AC that was failing us repeatedly (due to aggressive refrigerant loss from a big leak in our evaporative coil). It didn't make any sense to replace the coil for $3K (a common quote from other contractors too) so a new system purchase on this primary homestead made sense.

They did an amazing job; everything from the initial, informative diagnostic visit (Jacob) with options explained -- to the no-pressure, cost assessment and overview (Seth) -- to the non-disruptive, very smooth installation by 3 technicians working on my property (Josh, Juston and Jackston).

The installation work was carried out very efficiently; one person initially working on the outdoor unit working in parallel with the two others who were removing the old attic air handler/gas furnace and replacing it with the new one.

I also want to note that they masked up each time they came inside and were very careful and courteous around my property. The entire time, my family couldn't tell there was any work going on outside. Any interruptions were truly kept to a minimum! Once they were done, Josh went over the work that was completed, how I can keep the system running efficiently, and how various upgrades were made to safeguard any potential problems and to maintain (if not exceed) code requirements. What I saw was a VERY clean install in my attic! I was so impressed that I'm now looking into switching my annual maintenance checks to Honest AC.

There are plenty of hvac contractors in Austin and surrounding areas, and I'm sure many are well-qualified and can also low-ball you with quotes. I was swamped with quotes from various contractors even located outside of Austin, but I decided to go with Honest AC because of all the great reviews I've read about them and the excellent, solid appointments I've had with their technicians and sales advisor. Their prices are admittedly not the cheapest (nor the most expensive), and they're the first to point that out. But for the high quality of work and service they provide, the rates are more than fair and easily justified. I had to smile in agreement when the salesperson Seth told me not to be so focused on name brands -- "it's just a name on the box". He emphasized rightfully that it's the after-sales service that counts the most. And their strong reputation is well-deserved.

So thank you Honest AC; you'll be hearing more from me as I continue to reach out with any hvac concerns and to schedule follow-up maintenance. Really appreciate the stellar service and support!

Great experience! James was fantastic. He explained everything so well and never made me feel dumb for not knowing it (first-time homeowner problems). He was also so kind and patient with my toddler who wanted to show him toys and see what he was doing. Will definitely be calling them for any future needs!

After we had two AC units fail, another company came over and was pushing for us to replace both units (at high cost!). We then called Honest for a second opinion. Our technician, Mike, fixed both units quickly and also was very helpful in giving us maintenance pointers. Super positive experience all around — thank you very much!

Called Honest AC out for a second opinion after the first company recommended detected low refrigerant charge and wanted to charge for leak detection or any further investigation. The tech (Eric) who came out to speak with me was incredible in explaining what readings he got from the system and explaining why the first company may have misinterpreted the original readings. If not for the system stabilizing and working normally as he worked on it, it sounds like they might have done investigation for free that I'd have paid for from the first company, all as part of the 2nd opinion that they didn't charge me for. It's rare to see a company live up to its name as thoroughly as Honest AC, but it's earned them another customer going forward!

Excellent experience with HVAC team. A cut above the rest. Highly responsive. Articulate and friendly on the phone when booking. Technician was on-time, respectful, and got the job done. Fixed the issue. Highly recommended.

I have had a TERRIBLE experience with this company over the last 4 years. I bought a brand new system from them for almost 9k and they have been out several times to fix it. I've been told the board they put in doesnt match the system, the dampers rhey replaced multiple times were always the wrong ones for the system and they still dont work, I've even been told my system doesn't work properly becuase of the way my hosie is designed. I'm convinced the unit they installed is never going to work right becuase of all the "repairs" they have done and the machine is just overworked now. It needs to be replaced entirely.

Recently I called becuase it stopped working AGAIN. I called at 7 am and was told someone would be out that day. at 4 pm I called back and was told they wouldn't be out for another 3 days. Erica told me she called and left me a voice mail but I didnt have a missed call or voicemail so it seems they lied again. Then when they did come out they chopped my rose bush up. the plant I've been tending to for 3 years is absolutely hideous now that they decided to just chop it up. So not only do they sell you systems that never work right and they constantly install parts that are not compatible (according to Rick ryker) they will also damage your property. It would've taken me literally 30 seconds to move the plant out of the way and now it's going to take months for it to recover. I cant believe they damaged my property after everything they've put us through. If mike Fobbs comes to tour door make sure to watch hom because apparently he thinks it's ok to destroy property.

Service was incredible! Within 30 minutes of calling as a first time customer, Tom showed up at my home and fixed my water heater. I told him I was a first time home buyer and he took the time to explain everything he was doing, plus he walked around the home checking out the meter, sprinkler system, water pressure, and more. He was so helpful and I learned a ton of information from him that I wouldn’t have known otherwise. The price was incredibly fair and we will definitely be using this company exclusively for any plumbing or HVAC needs.

This is a fantastic company with excellent service and very affordable pricing. They are always transparent with the pricing and really work hard to deliver high-quality work and wonderful customer service.
