Great customer service and very knowledgeable. After purchasing new start capacitors and installing them, I noticed that the compressor would not turn off. They spent over 20min on the phone helping me debug the issue which turned out to be a bad Nest base plate shorting the +24V R wire to the compressor Y wire.
Amazing experience and I would highly recommend Open to the public HVAC parts for anything HVAC related.
I wish I had found you before spending $150 on estimates and $700 in window units. The quotes we received were over $1000 and they wanted us to replace the blower motor...I found you guys on Google and I guess it was God's will that your number popped up first and I called....Thank you so much for helping us and repairing our blower motor. You saved us a whole lot of money...We will be coming back. Thank you again.
Great place for DIY. Excellent support from the staff especially Chrystal, she tested and confirmed my failed parts and sold me exactly what I needed to get my AC running again. I am very grateful for the service and support I received. I
My condenser motor went out. On a Saturday morning. I drove down to the store. Talked to the owner on the way in. Part was ready. They color coded the wires so I knew what to connect and provided all the pieces including zip ties and wore nuts. All at an extremely reasonable price.
I cannot say enough about their customer support and friendliness. FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.
This people are super nice. Chrystal was so much helpful and patient. She helped me with all the set up on my new motor. They have all the parts that I needed.
If you have a little DIY skills and have an A/C problem this is the place to go. They will give you tips and instruction on how to. They will troubleshoot components that you bring to them. I recently needed a 3 speed blower motor and capacitor and they went over the installation steps and put the new motor a test bench to confirm rotation direction. I felt pretty confident when I left. My quote from an A/C company to replace my motor was 1075 dollars. Their motor and capacitor was 175 bucks.
I highly recommend Open to Public. I seldom give 5 stars but this rating is certainly well deserved. I called the store to see if they had a motor for my AC unit. I talked to Chrystal on the call and brought in the old motor. She tested it and confirmed it was shot. She then installed the new motor on the lid that I brought in while helping others and answering questions along the way. I can't tell you the last time I've had customer service that was this good. Thanks Chrystal. The unit is up and running fine.
Thank you Crystal & Matt for all of your help and patience! They are so knowledgeable and answered every question we could've asked. We were able to replace our fan motor & capacitor with their guidance. Thank you again so much.
Get place. The people were very helpful and polite. The price was not bad at all. They even told me how I could do the job at a lower price. Would definitely drive the 2 hours again to go there
