I purchased my AC unit the summer of 2022 My AC went out on Friday evening on 16 Jun 2023 I called them promptly Monday because the are closed weekends. they scheduled a technician for Tuesday he said the compressor was bad and that he would order one and it would be repair in a week, well it’s been 2 weeks with 90 degree temperatures this past weekend and I still hv no AC. My husband and I hv called several time asking to speak with a manager who is never there. I called this morning 26 June my address was taken and 3 calls and over 30 min later they are refusing to answer my calls!
I don't know why people are giving them bad reviews, Mr Eli called when he was on the way. Showed up a few minutes later. He addressed the issue, fixed the issue and now my AC is working. All within about 30 minutes. He was very professional and I would recommend Greenway and specifically Mr Eli to anyone. I know how I was use again if there are any more issues. Thank you sir
Ranel Honeycutt was very professional and extremely helpful in getting my ac unit up and running. He made sure to verify that all of my registers were operating as they should be before he left. He also called me several hours later to check on the status of the temperature in my house. I am very grateful for the service and professionalism that I have received in this matter!!!
I have had Greenway Home Services come to my home on three separate occasions. I personally feel that they are an unfair and biased company. I had a diagnosis of my home and they reported that it was not regular wear and tear. My new neighbors who do not share my ethnic background had the same exact issue and theirs was fixed. So I am perplexed as to how the same exact issue was diagnosed differently. Even they explained it had to be blatant bias. I am very disappointed with them and American Homeshield. I have been a customer since 2013 but will be cancelling after this incident.
The communication from Greenway is some of the worst I have received from a service provider. I had an appointment time from noon until 5 and no one shows and I received no call. Over the phone I am told they have our part for the repair and will be out, but at the appointment time I am then told they don’t have the part.. this happened not once but TWICE! I would never recommend this company and do not see how they are still in business with their lack of communication and disorganization.
Came to fix my Mitsubishi mini split ( sunroom indoor unit-water leak) multiple times. Each time a technician shows-up and says it is two person job and we have to reschedule (without even looking at issue). Finally two person team showed up, worked on it and told that that leak was fixed and put it back on the wall. A couple hours after they left, the unit started making loud noise while running and started leaking again. I called the company and reported the new issue. They sent a single technician after a few days. As soon as he walks he said it again "two person job" we need to reschedule and order some parts without even touching the unit. After that, no follow up or update from greenway. We were so frustrated due to significant delay, it was unusually hot outside and could not use the sunroom without AC. We finally called the manufacturer Mitsubishi and they sent their own technicians to take a look at the issue. As soon as they opened it, they said a lot of plastic parts were broken inside and previous technicians were so rough on the unit. They couldn't repair it and we had to replace it with a new one and paid out of pocket. Greenway technician never even informed us that they had damaged internal parts ( all they said was it was fixed and left). We used this company through American home shield and in my experience technicians ( or companies) used by AHS behave as if they were doing a free service to the customer ( they don't pay attention, very reckless and careless). I usually don't wright reviews but because of this very bad experience, I have decided to post it.
Unbelievably unprofessional team. They scheduled a technician to come repair my AC on the afternoon of memorial day. They decided on the morning of memorial day to call to inform me that they were not going to work the afternoon and they ha to come in the morning. I understand the point , but Im furious that they made the mistake, waited until the early morning to try to change it, and then forced their decision on me. I have to change my plan to meet theirs. I would never choose this company. How could I ever trust them? They won't follow their own scheduling choices.
Unprofessional, unresponsive. They came out to fix my system in January. They had to order a part. Weeks went by without an update. I called in multiple times without any information. Their common response was to check with the parts department and we'll call you back. Never got a call back. It's now April and they showed up to fix it but it turns out that they ordered the wrong part!! Working out next steps now.
The heat went out in the upstairs of my house. I was trying to save some money by booking a service appointment through my home warranty (American Home Shield).
The first guy that came out told me I had a bad thermostat. So I replaced it, but it fixed nothing.
They spent another two days here — coming out three times total. They attempted to fix it, but to no avail. They couldn’t even diagnose the root issue. The guy that came out the second and third time was really friendly, and I know he was trying his best, but It seemed like he didn’t really know what he was doing.
I eventually just had to thank him for his time and let him go — telling him that I was gonna hire some one else to do the work.
So that’s what I did.
Don’t use this company. They canceled on me previously for a hot water heater repair as well.
Keith at Greenway went above and beyond to get our HVAC system repaired. I reported it broken through our home warranty company (American Home Shield), and we were so lucky to be matched with Greenway. It turned into a complicated case due to the poor quality of our system, and Keith worked tirelessly to locate the necessary parts in a swift manner, keeping us updated every step of the way. We're so grateful for his kindness and professionalism. I would absolutely recommend Greenway and we would work with them again in a heartbeat!
