These foks were contracted with my home warranty company. for 3 months they came to fix my heat pump randomly replacing parts including my thermostat. never fixing the unit. i finally called Action Air who diagnosed the problem in 20 min. apparently green home had screwed up several things. including a relay that they had supposedly fixed during their fake tuneup vip program. it cost me $645 to fix everything they had ruined or pretended to fix. they are thieves bilking people out of cash for fake repairs.

DO NOT USE THEM!! Very disappointed with the customer service and the professionalism of this organization. 90 days ago we bought a brand new AC Trane unit and have had nothing but issues. Last weekend the unit completely stoped working and five days later it is still not operational. We have kindly requested that the unit be replaced after spending $6000 and nothing has been done. Impossible to speak to a decision maker and I would NOT recommend Greenway to anybody living in the Nashville or the Memphis metro area.

It took an entire month for Greenway to come out to my home. They "repaired" my unit and I paid $625 for freon my home cooled for a total of 10 hours. I called back the next day,asking they have someone come out same day. The set an appointment for a week out. The week went by, the repairman got covid. So instead of covering down with someone else the moved me back another week. They finally came out and installed a new coil and refilled my refrigerant. It worked for a day and a half. Now it is not cooling again. Yay. My family has gone without air conditioning since April 22nd.

Absolutely horrible services, been waiting on a part for over a month. Then I call a fellow friend of mine and they say the part is available in the part house. I have called and complained and requested a call back from their supervisor, been waiting two weeks for a call back. Absolutely horrible and do not do what they say. been with out A/C in our bonus room for 1 1/2 months. About call American home shield and complain. To them too

We used Greenway Home Services for the replacement of a water heater. We used them through our home warranty. I'll start of by saying their prices are outrageous. They charge $150 for a water safety pan. Price at Home Depot $30. they also said it needed an Exp Tank. Their price $250, Home Depot $50. Are we seeing a trend? None of this is needed for code reasons but they will not install the water heater unless you buy their over priced products. By the time it was done, we had to write a check for over $700. I will never use them as they obviously are greedy at best and down right unethical at worse. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

We used Greenway one other time via our home warranty company. It was fine. They fixed the AC, which broke down again they returned for a more long-term fix the next day and it was taken care of.

However, our AC broke down again, and we were told that the home warranty company would not replace our aged unit if it was fixable. To FIX it, though, they would only cover the coil, and not the cost of the freon. The price quoted us for freon was $1,700 for 8 gallons. I looked up freon, which was available online at a wholesale cost for 10 gallons, and it was $499. When I asked Steve, our "comfort specialist" about the extreme cost difference, he was dismissive and rude before finally copping to the fact that they mark things up dramatically.

Therein lies the rub. So American Home Shield and Greenway are in cahoots, and one way or another, they will get their money. It's a racket, and I would suggest you don't do business with either. In fact, if you read other 1-star reviews on Greenway, you'll see that other people were quoted RIDICULOUS mark-ups.

We opted out of doing business with Greenway and went with a locally owned business that was a DREAM to do business with — One-Hour Heating and Air.

Side note: Ladies, if you use Greenway, be warned that if Steve, the "Comfort Specialist," is sent to your home and you happen to have a male significant other, you will be come invisible. He's a "man's man" — even my husband marveled at how when I would ask Steve a question, he would look at my husband to answer.

Too bad for Steve I write the checks. Bye, Steve.

P.S. It took one week for Greenway to get to the house to inspect the unit — and we were the LAST one of the day. They said someone would be out between 12-5, and our person didn't show up till 6:30. That person couldn't do anything, and it was another day for Steve to show up and do nothing. TOTAL WASTE of time.

Company installed ac air handler and components improperly and have spent the past year trying to get it fixed and reinstalled properly to no avail.

Poor service. Three service calls and problem is not fixed. Air conditioning is flooding carpet and dispatch said technician would be returning tonight. This was at 4 pm. Called five times after that the same evening and still no one showed up. No one returned my after hours called. Terrible service. Do NOT use this company

Unbelievably lazy and un-professional. The young technician tried to tell me that you fix a leak in PVC by adding more glue around the leak. That is nonsense, and if it works at all is not a permanent fix. I sent him away, called their offices with the hopes of speaking with a supervisor. They would not let me speak with a service supervisor, only transferred me to a customer relations manager who didn't know a pipe fitting from a hole in the ground. I never received a call back from the service supervisor. I would steer away from this company, do not let them "rig" your house or equipment!
