I have AHS and they sent them to fix our heater, when they came to the house I told them every issue, one of them being one of our rooms in the house not heating their technician automatically said it was probably duct work and my insurance didn’t covered that he would come back with somebody skinny. Not once reported to AHS the issue, came back charge me and once I reported to AHS that they had charged me they said it was due to animal damaged but not once did they informed me of animal damage when I asked them why I was paying when it’s under warranty I was told the insurance didn’t covered that type of duct work, so they lied just to get money out of me
Very poor professional skills. Not knownlegable. Guy didnt seem like he wanted to do any work. How are a " Home Services" business and dont even bring a simple plumbing snake to unclog a drain...seriously? This company is trash from the inside out. Had a friend that worked for this company and I knew once the home warranty company booked them it was going to be a mistake and a waste of time. Two weeks without a working shower. Dont waste time folks they used a service to retore their rating. It used to be a 2.8 stars on google.
Greenway was chosen by my home warranty company when my thermostats failed and i am sometimes a bit disappointed with their choices. However, I was pleased with Greenway and Jonathan, who was prompt and so efficient and professional. He installed my new thermostats and helped me with any questions, offering helpful suggestions. His professionalism and expertisexwere above and beyond. And i would call them first if i need services not covered by my warranty company. I will ask for Jonathan next time.
They either misdiagnosed the problem, or failed to fix it properly, and as a result, mold has been developing. I have tried to contact them and have recieved no response. It has been over a week and not so much as a courtesy call. I do not understand how this company has 4 stars when I am dealing with such unprofessionalism. Not only am I giving them a low rating, but I am telling my friends/family to stay away!
Greenway technicians ruined my AC. They taped it back together and propped the tubing up on 2 board games from my attic. Avoid at all costs. Horrible company with horrible customer service.
My heat has been out for 5 days all of which have been below freezing. Still no status of a part that in hind sight, I should have overnighted myself. After this part arrives (no tracking), I can get scheduled... Do yourself a favor and use a service that takes emergency situations seriously.
Continued. I have contacted AHS and they do indeed cover expedited shipping per request of the technician. Even IF they did not and you do in fact take emergency situations seriously, would you not give the home owner an opportunity to pay for expedited shipping? Poor service, poor communication.
The technician from Greenway never showed up, he said he call and came by the house which he didn't I was there all day, I have proof that he did not show up this is a terrible company I was advised anyone to stay away from them.
They were very professional and they did a great job. Greenway Home Services is a Great Company, and has professional hard working employees. Thanks for the great service that your company provides.
On Friday, 9 December, we woke up to a cold house; during the night our heater had shut off. No power to the thermostat so I went and checked the circuit breakers on the air handler and I saw the 60 amp breaker was tripped. Reset it, and heat came back on only to trip the breaker again after a few minutes. Called AHS who put in a work order with Greenway. Greenway initially told me they couldn’t be there till Monday so I called AHS back and they elevated my ticket due to the extreme temps. Greenway said they couldn’t come till Saturday and since it was freezing in the house, we called a local company, hoping it was something simple. The other company came out and determined I had a bad 60 amp breaker, and told me because my unit's manufacturer had gone out of business around 2004, it would be hard to find that breaker. He disabled one of the heater coils so the unit would at least give us some heat without tripping the breaker. I called Greenway and told them exactly what the other tech had found and what he said about the breaker; they assured me they had most circuit breakers on their trucks, no problem. Saturday morning (10 Dec) the Greenway tech shows up with absolutely no clue as to what was going on. I told him what the other company had troubleshot the problem too and also told him I had already spoken to someone at Greenway the day before so she should have known what was wrong. He got in his van, made a phone call and then came back and told me they were going to schedule me to get my air handler rewired and a new circuit breaker put in. Monday morning, I took pictures of the air handler and the 60 amp breaker, called Greenway and talked to someone, and once more explained what had gone on so far. I told her I had pics of the air handler and circuit breaker and she gave me an email to send the pics to, which I did right away. 5 minutes later, she called me back and said she has shown the pics to her parts department and they said they had that breaker available, and another appointment was scheduled for Wednesday, 14 Dec. I took a day off work to be home, and when the tech showed up, he took a look at the circuit breaker and told me he didn’t carry that type on the truck. While I was standing there, he called Greenway back, and told them what type breaker I needed, and told them to put me as his first appointment for Saturday, 17 Dec. Come Saturday, around 9:30, I called greenway to ask where their guy was and I was told he was working another job near me and I was next, and they had no clue about me being the first appointment of the day. Around 11, a totally different guy showed up and this new tech also didn’t have the correct circuit breaker. He told me they would order the correct one this time. I was not a happy customer and called AHS to file a formal complaint against Greenway. During the call, Greenway told them a lie, that one of their previous techs had rewired my air handler. None of their techs had done any maintenance on it all up to this point. On Friday, 23 Dec, yet another tech came out from Greenway with what was supposed to be the correct circuit breaker. As soon as he took it out, I could see it was way different than the one in the air handler. He took the old one off, wired the new one up, and tried for 15 minutes to make it fit into the existing bracket without success. He then asked me what I wanted to do, and told me if he had a long screw, he could at least get it sort of secured on the bracket. I told him nope, it wasn’t the correct breaker, and with high voltages, I wasn’t going to let anyone jury rig a circuit breaker and risk a house fire. So now I called AHS again and they are doing a customer relations report, and I have to wait again to find out if and when my air handler will be repaired. In the meantime, my heater is having to work twice as hard and long to heat the house, which means a much higher electric bill for this entire month. Attached are pics of the 2 circuit breakers, in each pic the original is on the bottom.
