One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

The Vent in our bedroom was not working, cooling all around the house is perfect.When we called the company they said they have an offer going on where they come and check the duct work and give us an estimate and we can make A decision if we want the service or not.
Two guys came in and went to the attic the they were there for less than 5minutes. They mentioned for maximum cooling it is advised to get some additional vent and gave us an estimate of $3000 aporox to which we kindly declined. They then said that for todays work it would be $300. For what?? This was supposed to be a free estimate! If you are going to do something and charge me please let me know in advance and give me a chance to make a decision. We declined to pay and mentioned what was told to us on the call they left. They were parked in front of our house for approximately 30mins and came back saying they either have to reverse the work they did or pay. The work they did was "turn the damper". We said they were more than welcome to reverse the work and this was absolutely hillarious, they went back in the attic turned the damper off made sure the vents were not blowing air and left. I bet if it were another company they would have given higher importance to customers satisfaction, loyalty.
Atleast give your customers a chance to review the costs, make a decision and shop around before asking them to pay.

Recently I called one hour because I new that I was going to have to replace my central unit. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. From the first call to set up an appointment, being on a fixed income and no Heat at all. I did not think I would be able to get financing to have heat this winter.
