I contracted with them to have all my old duct work replaced, a new hood made for the outside central unit, a new cable for the thermostat installed, and new poly moisture barrier installed. I couldn't have asked for anyone to have done a more thorough job, and all of the crew were just great to work with. They kept me informed and went the extra mile to insure I was satisfied with the entire job. Caleb even changed the air speed on the fan to insure the moisture was no longer the problem we had experienced in the past. Jacob, the salesman is energetic and works hard on insuring you feel good about the work being completed. Bill Tucker, the installer, kept me up to date on any issues he ran in to and most of all, made sure my wife's flowers didn't get trampled. ( Bill is married also). Even the owner, Bill Bentley, came by and was very easy to talk with. We talked for quite a while.
They have had some rough reviews in the past , but I assure anyone who may be reading this review, it was in no way the company I dealt with on this job. When I need a new central unit installed, I will most definitely be giving them a call. James

I will never use anyone else but Bentley's! Seriously I could go on and on about how great they are. We woke up this morning to a hot house on a day that is supposed to be in the mid 90s. I thought this was going to be a nightmare. We called Bentley's and they came out in the scheduled time. The tech was professional, fast and rates were very reasonable. The house will be cool again by the time we go to bed tonight. Perfect service! And the sweet tech that came to my house did not mind my two crazy but lovable dogs. That is when I become a very loyal customer.

They are not reliable about keeping their promise to show up when they are scheduled to do a repair. They do not return phone calls, messages, or texts. Bill Bentley, owner, is not a good example of a reliable businessman. We have waited since last October for a part, taken two days off and still not repaired! I wouldn't recommend them at all.

They aren't interested in helping if they might have to stay a few minutes late at work. We were without heat for 2 days during the coldest part of winter because they wouldn't stay 15 extra minutes for my husband to get there and buy a part. Don't have a break down when it might mean doing a little extra for them!! Not very community or customer oriented but I'm sure if they could have made big bucks instead of selling a part they would have had a different attitude!! They're in the wrong business and we won't try to give them our business again!

The entire team was polite and friendly (especially Jacob) and answered all of my questions. Their quote was considerably below the competition's, despite being a better system. They were able to install the system quickly and everything is working far better than my old system, and far less often due to better efficiency. I would certainly recommend Bentley's to my family and friends.

Dalton and Tyler arrived on time for the next day appointment, and quickly diagnosed the problem with our under-performing air conditioning unit. They fixed the problem efficiently, checking the cooling as they worked. We are very pleased and will use this company again.

Air Unit went out over the weekend while we were out of town. I waited until Monday morning and called first thing. Caleb was at my house within an hour. I realize this is difficult to do all the time, but this was the middle of August and they came right out. I really appreciated their understanding and promptness. Caleb was very professional and helped explain what he was doing very well. Thanks Bentley! Will be using you for any future problems.

Bently promised me he is going to pull a permit for this new unit witches I paid $8500.00 for it , I do have my invoice. I can provide, he Installl my unit and never get a permit. Now I need to finish my final inspection in the house and no permit. I been trying to get in touch with him for 3 months now 😞 no response at all. I called his office over 15 times lady’s keep telling me will get back with you. And still no permit. Oh and he never got my grills Until this past Friday and never install them he just dropped them off after 5 months of work . I really gave him time enough. I’m really Disappointed.

I have held off placing this review as long as I could to allow this company to make things right...but enough is enough. The following is MY experience.

In the later part of this July, my AC unit went out. So for close to two hot Summer months, I was without air in a 97° house. I had it serviced, but it could not be repaired. So I had to purchase a brand new unit. I decided to purchase a Trane with Bently's of Mt. Juliet, due to Jacob's (the salesman) great personality and customer service, as well as he was able to beat the competitor's prices.

So, almost two weeks later, it was install day (after the first appointment was cancelled due to unit not in). Now, here is when the beginning of an ongoing HORRIBLE experience began.

My appointment was at 8:30am, they didn't arrive until 10am. The two installer "gentlemen" took my old units out, and then sat in a truck in my driveway for almost 3 hours. I went out to ask was everything ok, and was told it seems as my unit was still not ready for pickup. Now, they had almost two weeks to have everything prepared for my install, but what could I do?

So, they left and then came back with my unit/air handler and Installed both. At this moment its probably about 330pm. Another guy arrives, (Caleb) and said they weren't leaving til they were done, ( well he left an hour later.) Needless to say, the following guys, who seemed clueless with an install, also left as night fell, even though my unit was blowing hot air with the Air on. At this point it is 8 PM, and my home is 102°. I call Jacob, and he says call the emergency line. I did. No call back.

The next day, I call Bentley's and speak with the manager Dawn. At this point I AM LIVID, and quite emotional. I explain to Dawn, what happened and that I called the owner this morning, and received no call back. She apologized and said she would have the owner call. That did not happen. Clay, however did call, and arrives at my home an hour after I spoke with Dawn. He is in my home for 3 hours, and air is finally working. Makes me wonder, what did the "installers" even do!?

Since that day, more has happen after my initial install. Which I cannot believe, when this is supposed to be a brand new unit!

It was finally getting cooler outside, but heat was blowing cool air. They came back out and" fixed" it again. And now a week later, its warm, so I turned on Air, and yet again, hot air is blowing out! I call emergency line and of course, no call back. And it's been 4 hours since I called.

I cannot understand how I am having this much trouble with a brand new unit installed from a company who website guarantees 100% satisfaction. I don't know what else to do. I have paid thousands of dollars for a huge investment that has not worked properly since I got it....and no one, not even the owner could make things right (He wont even call!). I should not still be dealing with this. Bentleys sure got my money, ON TIME, but I sure have not received any Customer Satisfaction. NONE!

If you've read this entire review, I apologize for the length. But please understand, this is not how you conduct a buisness. And I had to share, not the entirety, but the depth of my experience. Please be cautious. And if you decide to go with this company, I pray your experience is a whole lot better than mine. Hopefully you'll be treated better too.

I called Trane to find a certified dealer to check out the wiring on my brand new unit and got Bentley's number. The office explains the $75 service call or possibly $91 for what I need. The very polite technician found it to be a loose duct on the supply side. He took care of it in under an hour and called me to explain since i was working and he met my wife. His words were "I am only going to charge you the $91" to which I replied heck yeah! Here's where the problem lies. I don't mind paying the $166 but the office and technician never really added the two prices together nor implied I should. So my wife writes a check for $166 and when we talk I'm like what? He said $91 on the phone??? I called him back twice and he said the office would contact me.... that was several weeks ago and that check has cleared.
