Gent Heating And Cooling

Bought our unit from Shane a couple yrs back maybe 3, he was nice and told us how hood these Trane units were so we took his word and trusted him and got one. EVERY year since its had to be filled with freon. They told us it was leaking they couldn't find the leak and wanted us to keep paying for them to come back every year to refill and charge us for freon. A new unit doesn't leak unless so.ething is wrong and Shane and his crew refuse to replace the part that's bad in it. They may be really great service and fast but they definitely don't know how to honor a warranty. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody I know not even if I hated that person.

Gent Heating & Cooling is a superior company with excellent service and installation techs and an office crew that keeps everything running smoothly. I was very impressed with their dedication and commitment to high standards and quality work. Our A/C went out on our nearly 30 year old Janitrol system during the heat of summer. Gent had a service tech out within a day and was able to get cold air flowing again. We knew it was long past time buy a new heat/air system, but I still appreciated the service tech being very polite and gentle about the sad state of our existing unit when he suggested replacing it. There was absolutely no hard sales pitch and no pressure -- just the facts and a fair price for new heat/air install. The office worked hard to get our install scheduled within a couple of days and we had a new unit installed and a complete duct cleaning sooner than I ever expected. We live in an older (1930s) home that always presents some unexpected quirk and it did during the new unit install, but Gent handled it like the pros they are and I couldn't be more pleased with the product and with the entire Gent Heat & Cool team of professionals. Highly recommend Gent if you want experienced and fair professionals with a firm commitment to quality standards. Thank you to everyone at Gent Heating & Cooling!

We just moved into Vining Mills subdivision built a new home and Gentry’s has been absolutely wonderful , just minor things that come with new construction , but their attention to solving these minor issues have been nothing but superior ! From Whitney to the techs and the knowledge these folks have in solving customers requests , is something you don’t see nowadays with companies , bravo to you guys and I look forward to my future needs knowing Gentry’s will take care of me . Gent saved me thousands of dollars! I had another company look at my AC unit and was told the compressor was going bad. I doubted the skill level of that other company's technician and decided to get a second opinion and called Gent. The Gent technician took less than an hour to not only figure out the problem but get it repaired as well. I needed a faulty heat sequencer replaced, not a new compressor as I was told by the other company. Also, I was very impressed that they made a point to come out same day that I called and followed through exactly as they promised. If only all service companies were as professional and prompt as Gent. Thank you again Gent, you are now my go to for heating and AC needs. I highly recommend.

I am happy we chose Gent Heating and Cooling to replace our 20 yr old Goodman with a new model. The two techs that came out were super efficient and knew exactly what to do.They replaced our old unit, replaced the old metal shroud with a much improved one that they built on site. It looks good and will keep out the critters. The unit itself is so much quieter than our old unit. They informed me of what they were doing and why as well as cleaned up like they were never here. The owner Shane answered all my questions before they came out to do the job and his price was very reasonable for the heatpump unit , installation and building a new shroud. They also were on time and actually early for the install. I would highly recommend Gent Heating and Cooling.🌿

My wife and I can't begin to tell you how pleased we are that we met Shane and his team. After 2 years of working with one of their "Happy" competitors and unknowingly being sold a bill of goods and scare tactics of a looming HVAC replacement at the cost of tens of "free financed" thousands, we finally have peace of mind. When our AC system finally broke down I decided to get some additional quotes. Shane came in and assessed the situation in about a half hour...double checking every step of the way. He even caught the fact that our condensers were flipped outside (2.5 ton installed on a 2 ton air handler and visa versa). Never a word about this from our "Happy" guys. Then, incredible for these days, he recommended exactly what we needed and nothing more... at a very reasonable cost. He sent his installer, Slim, out the very next day who was highly professional, courteous and quick... completing the job in just a few hours. Spot on!

Shane may think he sells HVAC units, but what he sells best is peace of mind. I'll look forward to working with him and his team over the coming years.
