We used Frisbee for AC and a possible plumbing issue. We would give the AC tech six stars if that was an option! He fixed our AC quickly and taught us some basic maintenance we should have been doing all along but weren't aware of (first time home owners). It was 90 out today and I needed a sweater because the fixed AC is so powerful.

The plumber determined our pipes were ok and that he didn't know what the issue was. Fair, it happens - but $185 to not actually fix anything? I understand paying him for his time making the call but he was in our house less than a half hour, so the price seems steep as he didn't fix our problem.

I do appreciate they were able to come so quickly. Overall would use them again I think, at least for any issues with our AC.

Frisbees got a new AC unit installed within 4 days from when I first called them after my ancient AC unit died in the middle of June last year. Their technicians were quick and got the job done right. On top of the speed and great service, their bid was better than 5 other places in town I reached out to.

Update: frisbees did apologize for the below mess and sent a gift card to try to make things better. I appreciate their efforts and taking it seriously so I’m going to update them to 3 stars.

TLDR: fan installation is fine but they left my bathrooms a total mess with insulation and dust everywhere. Also, poor communication.

August 30: Frisbees came out to look at and quote our project.

September 12: Hadn't heard anything about scheduling so my husband called and they couldn't even find our information in the system.

September 26: My husband called again because we still hadn't heard anything about being scheduled. He was told the guy does his own scheduling and basically will reach out to us a week in advance. What an awful system?! We essentially had no idea when they might be ready to do our project.

September 29: I called Frisbees to ask about scheduling. Got the same information as my husband.

October 28: My husband received communication that Frisbees would arrive on November 2nd between 9 and 10 am, closer to 10.

November 2nd: Frisbees arrived prior to 8 am, which was never communicated to us. The actual project went fine. But when they left, my house was a disaster, as shown. No drop cloths were used to keep dust off the floors, bathroom doors were left open so the dust traveled out of the bathrooms and onto carpet and other furniture. We were never informed to remove items from our bathrooms so all of our toothbrushes, kids bath toys, etc are covered in insulation and dust. (see photos)

While the actual work performed was fine I was not impressed at all with how they left my home or how scheduling staff communicated.

Frisbees was all around amazing. They were extremely easy to work with and looked out for my family's needs rather than trying to sell me what would make them the most money. They were quick in installation and did the job flawlessly. They even went back and worked with me to make sure I had the correct documentation for my insurance company months after the job was complete. I would recommend this company to anyone!

    ZERO STARS -

We are 4 years into a new construction house with all HVAC and plumbing completed by Frisbees as a sub-contractor. They designed all components of the plumbing, heating and cooling. Everything down to the toilets and fixtures was sold and installed by them.

Multiple service calls for water softener not working at all.
Multiple service calls to to discover hot water recirculating pump installed backwards for hot water loop, against a one-way valve.
Multiple service calls for UV light failure on furnace.

Frisbees was sub-contracted again for basement finish just 2 years ago and during the fitting of downstairs plumbing. New piping was attached to the cold water lines that contained debris, wood shavings, etc, and then turned on. This debris over a few short weeks, managed to travel to an elbow and reducer to the master shower resulting in a complete loss of pressure on the cold line. Since the shower used a pressure-balancing valve, the loss of pressure on cold side, means no water on hot side. Months of back and forth with home contractor and Frisbees resulted in some debris being pulled from the system and drywall, painting and other work left to fix. 2 years later this problem still exists and is worked around only by engaging other faucets earlier in the cold loop to reduce back-pressure on the debris which sometimes allows us to use the shower. We will have to start tearing things down and replacing entire segments of the plumbing lines to fix at our own expense when we can find an honest and trustworthy contractor. Spoiler… there isn’t one here that many of us can afford or get on the schedule for.

I called 3 weeks ago to get on automatic schedule for furnace and A/C maintenance and a technician was dispatched a few days later. During the cleaning/maintenance, a part that was displaying faults previously, failed permanently resulting in a loss of heating. Another technician was sent an hour or so later to troubleshoot further and he determined that the inducer motor was faulty but under warranty. We were informed that carrier does not stock this part with dealers, requires an extensive red-tape process to get a replacement, and has a 6-hour hold time for carrier support on the phone. We were told not to worry and and it would be submitted asap as they have all info needed and we could expect about a week to wait.

After more than a week and a half passed, I called in to find out what was going on after several more days. Frisbees was able to confirm they received the part on Saturday and that I was second on the list to have it installed on Monday. Less than 48 hours after the replacement part was installed and system is back and running I get the best part of every interaction with Frisbees.

    just calling them is $85.
annual heating checkup is another $55.
The best part, the part covered under warranty, is another $100!

But wait there's more....not even the next morning our furnace has a whole problem. It is currently sitting in a pool of its own fluids (water?) that is pooling nicely towards the finished portion of our basement.A new technician is dispatched who arrives and ultimately performs the annual cleaning we were led to believe was completed on the first visit that we were charged for. He had to replace all the PVC piping that allows the moisture and water to drain away from the furnace.

In August 2022, Frisbees had an annual revenue of 24 million dollars according to a simple web search. Don’t be fooled by the marketing jingles, family-owned since blah blah blah, a trusted part of your community BS. Your money is the only goal and they they will pass every last red cent of their expenses back onto you for every single interaction you have. I’ve had to fight tooth and nail just to have everything working properly for the first time yet without paying for the service all over again.

Plumbing call: Down- pipe outside for my sprinkler system needed replacement. Two feet of pipe, propress connections…no solder….15 minute fix by great technician: $236.00. (they now charge $85 to come to your house.) (Time to learn how to do some basic plumbing myself). Tech was awesome, company just charges too much. Not his fault. And yes, I know it’s probably the going rate all over town, but it’s still excessive.

Aaron as professional and very informative with our concerns and follow-up after a scare with another company. He over looked everything and reassured us our equipment was in working order and tuned/fixed what needed to be addressed. We definitely will keep going back no matter the “good deals” a different company may try to sell you.

The service Manager Mark was pleasant as well. We were told by a different company we couldn’t use our furnace for due to a carbon monoxide leak. Due to the cooler weather and a little one he had someone over in a few hours!! We appreciate your business and the technicians that work for you!

Mat Schoffelman provided service for our Annual Air Conditioner Check. Mat has always been very professional and has done a tremendous in maintaining and servicing our equipment. He has serviced our equipment for the past 6+ years. I would highly recommend him to anyone that would need his service and I will be doing that for a friend of mine. He does a great job!👍

    Thank you,

Had a terribly high quote for a furnace replacement from another company in town when our furnace just needed a couple new parts. Frisbee came right out to review, did a thorough and honest job in letting me know a repair was perfectly fine rather than a replacement, and came in at a great budget. Would highly recommend.

Shout out to Travis H! Although I wasn’t happy to hear my A/C fan motor needed to be replaced, Travis was super friendly and made short work swapping it out which at least kept the labor charges down! Very much appreciated and I won’t forget it.
