It was a 90+ degree day and the AC had been hissing for a few days and not blowing anything close to cold air out. We shut it off, gave it a rest, changed the filter, hosed the coils off… closed every curtain in the house…
Still no luck, the house felt like a sauna. My house is 100years old but my AC unit is only 14yrs old, I was hopeful
I could get another 5-10yrs out of the thing! So I called Mark Schempp and he was at my house within 20mins, NO JOKE! He just happened to be nearby, so he popped over and replaced a few parts that had gone bad and within a few hours, my house went from 80degrees+ to a cool 72 degrees inside. We are so grateful for his expertise, his prompt response & professional work. Thank you, Mark!

I awoke to a cold house Super Bowl Sunday. My furnace wasn't working. I called a couple of places to inquire about repair. The first place did not answer and the second said if a repairman came to my house, it would be $250 per hour on a Sunday. I decided to wait until Monday to call for help, but throughout the day, I kept smelling something unusual so called Schempps' emergency number. Mark spent 15-20 minutes with me asking questions, giving advice. He scheduled a time for someone to come to my house on Monday. I ended up calling the gas co. as well. They sent a person out at midnight to check things out and ensure all was ok (no carbon monoxide). The next day, Dale from Schempps was able to repair my furnace! Much thanks to everyone who helped me get through this. Everyone was so kind!

Anytime I need something done these guys will be my first choice; they are honest and they do great work.

Bought a house and there was a sticker on furnace for Schempp and we had a problem with furnace blower not turning off. Called them and discussed servicing home humidifier which they said they could do. They told me later that day a part had broken and our unit was older and they would try and come up with something. Weeks go by and nothing so I call. They said they would talk to the tech. 5 more weeks go by and I call again. They said the tech thought he found something that would work and reminded me our unit was older. Yesterday I decided to see what I could do on my own. Ten minutes on my own, knowing nothing about whole house humidifiers I found the "drain spud" that broke which could be glued possibly... and isn't made anymore by the original manufacture but I found a company making a copper replacement and ordered it and a filter. Still haven't gotten a call back from Schempp.

It was absolutely a perfect experience, Doug was so good at what he did and he found other things that needed to be fixed and he took care of it to make sure the house was safe and furnace worked correctly. And we can have a warm winter. Very satisfied.

Mark was great. We had a furnace problem that was hard to detect the source of. He kept us informed of what he was doing and why he was doing it. Mark also gave us some great tips on our vents, filter and thermostat. Being fairly new to town, we feel fortunate to have come across Schempp Heating and I would recommend them to everyone.

I love Shempp Heating and A/C. Mark and the staff/family are so easy to work with. He will give you his honest opinion on anything you ask. They are very knowledgeable and I feel reasonable when it comes to cost. They installed my furnace over 10 years ago and I have had no issues. I do follow the standard maintenance. This is a very reliable company and I highly recommend them!

Mark was awesome! I was out of town and in a bind. I called late Sunday afternoon, and Mark was able to get over to my house within an hour. He provided great service, and I would highly recommend Schempp Heating & Air Conditioning!

I can’t say enough about Schempp Heating and A/C. Honest, Dependable, Class Act, Professionals, Mark and Dale are top notch. In the middle of February my furnace when out on 2/5/2020. I live 10 miles out of town and didn’t realize I was without heat until well into the middle of the afternoon. That isn’t very promising when it’s below freezing outside! I was able to get ahold of Mark Schempp and he made it out that very afternoon to check on the furnace. Mark has been doing a great job of keeping the 26 year furnace running over the past year but unfortunately it’s time was done. Mark calmly explained the situation to me and my options. Didn’t pressure and just reassured me they could handle it. A day later he showed up And replaced my furnace and he stayed until 8:30 making sure it was done right. He wasn’t going to let us go another night without heat. Trust me you don’t find service like that this anymore, and they are family operated. Truely the best, period.
