This company was sent to replace my garbage disposal by my home warranty company (American home shield ). After diagnosing the garbage disposal technician offered to replace it with an inferior model compared to the one I already had. He ending up upselling me on a model with a higher horsepower. In hindsight I should have forced them to just order the same model that I already had instead of paying an up charge for this suggested model. 3 months after the new garbage disposal was installed it started making weird noises. After some back and forth with honesty mechanical and my home warranty company they sent the same technician out and he literally looked at it for 10 seconds and decided that nothing was wrong with it although it sounds horrible. I was not completely satisfied with the technicians work nor his explanation as to why the garbage disposal is making these noises. I will not contact this company for any further repairs. I must say the people in the office were extremely nice and helpful I just don't trust the technician that they sent out.

Honesty arrived when they said, gave me a call about 30 minutes in advance. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue with our AC and replaced the defective valve and recharged the system quickly. Everything back in order with minimal downtime. Appreciated their quick response and the knowledge of their technician.

A couple years ago, before their name change, we had Honesty Mechanical install a tankless hot water system with a recirculator in our home. At the time, the install team didn’t do a good job of explaining how the WiFi and app setup worked, but the system did what we wanted, so we didn’t bother calling.

After 18 months, the system wasn’t delivering hot water as it used to do. We called for help, they sent someone out, and while the situation improved, it only lasted a couple weeks.
We were so busy ourselves, we didn’t get to call again for a couple months, but when I did, I think I spoke with the owner (Trevor? I didn’t write his name down), he came out the very next morning to look for himself. He fixed a small problem on-site, then took the time to make sure I had the new app, helped me set it up and understand how to create a schedule, and he called the next day to make sure everything worked properly, which it has ever since.

I know the company had a lot of bad reviews before the name change, but our recent experience indicates they’ve turned over a new leaf and are committed to living up to their new name.

One tip: because everyone is dealing with staffing shortages, don’t stay on hold a long time when calling. Just leave a message, and they’ll call you back promptly.

This company was contracted by American Home Shield. Came out on 6/22/21 to assess a broken A/C unit to our NC home. Was told needed replacing. Have been trying to get this scheduled for a long time now. Cory does not return messages. Have tried contacting American Home Shield to advise them that Honesty Mechanical does not answer their phones or reply to voicemails. Have logged a BBB complaint against American Home Shield and will be logging a complaint with the Attorney General. Our family has been sitting in the cold for many weeks now. Would have appreciated better service than this sub-par level we have received. Clearly American Home Shield picked an incompetent contractor!

Honesty Mechanical did a wonderful job! They were professional, on time, and FRIENDLY! They did a wonderful job and would highly recommend them to my clients, friends, and family. James with Honesty Mechanical was sent to our house through our home warranty company. He called 30 minutes prior to arriving so we would know exactly when to expect him which we greatly appreciated. He was able to troubleshoot our problem and make the repair quickly. Nothing is worse than sleeping in your own sweat because your AC is broken. No waiting with these guys! They showed up when they said they would and fixed it right the first time. You should make Honesty Mechanical your go to team for all of your heating & cooling needs. I definitely have!

American home shield sent Honesty Mechanical to repair a leaking garbage disposal. They were able to come out quickly, the next day. I was given a time frame and they called when they were on their way. The technician was pleasant and professional. He replaced the leaking garbage disposal with a new one in no time at all. He explained everything to me such as why the old one failed and needed replaced and details about the new one along with the warranty information. He was considerate and cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to call on them again.

Our tech, Jamie, was wonderful. Took time to explain things, talked with me about some questions I had and was very thorough. This was through our home warranty company, but I will be asking the home warranty company to use them if we need more service.

Jamie at Honesty Mech. Is a good guy and good technician. Came promptly to diagnose and fix the issue and explained what he was doing throughout. There were some hiccups / communication issues with another technician that also came out, but I appreciate the courtesy and care to get the job done right and explain my situation clearly.

My AC unit stopped working in the middle of July. I have AHS and they assigned Honesty Services to handle it. I had no idea what to expect, but I called and was treated VERY nice and the appointment was scheduled. Garrett showed up on time, went to check on my unit and had it fixed in under 15 mins! Broken wire. Needless to say I was astounded! Very competent and professional. Don't worry about having this company help you. Follow up was just as positive!!
