Mr. James is the best! He is so knowledgeable and the kindest person I’ve met in a while! It was so refreshing to deal with a company that puts their customers first! He responded quickly over a holiday weekend too! He treated me like family AND fixed my AC during this awful Charleston heatwave! 100% recommend Changing Winds!!!!

Mr James responded quickly to my service request on a Sunday morning. Came out and repaired my heating concern, in between rain showers. He had to wait until the rain stopped a bit so he could diagnose and see if it was a concern that could respond to immediately. I was most impressed with his professionalism and taking the time to help me to understand what parts was replaced and how to know if my unit is running properly, moving forward.

Very unprofessional. Could not narrow down a day or time to come look at my unit. Asked me to inspect the unit and answer questions. When I said I’d prefer to let him look at it, he became very unprofessional and said I needed to get another technician. I did not appreciate the tone and lack of professionalism around scheduling. Would not recommend.

*Edit: after reading other reviews, I see that other American Home Shield customers experienced the same treatment from James that I did. Very unprofessional.

Knowledgeable and very helpful. Tried two other people and was quoted 1000s of dollars. He was able to get us what we needed quickly and reduced the price the best he could. Haven’t had help like this since I moved here and I won’t forget it. James Stewart is in the business to get you fixed.

James Stewart responded to my call immediately. He was aware of the possible danger involved by my description on the phone..
He arrived quickly, assessed what needed to be done and completed the repair in a professional and timely manner.
In addition, he explained what /why he repaired. I highly recommend James and his company for any service needed for your HVAC. Five stars all the way!

James is great! He is a professional and a very customer focused individual. He came out twice and took care of different issues very quickly. I have yet to meet any contractor who is so responsive and wants to take of issues. If I need any fixing, he is the first person/company on my list.

I called American Home Shields on a Wednesday and Mr. James Stewart showed up on Thursday afternoon. He found that there was a short in my AC system and he fixed it. The AC is now working well. He was polite, helpful and very considerate about our dog and two cats. I would recommend him to anyone. Jim Moose.

OMG!! James at Changing Winds Heating and A/C service was professional, thorough, honest and efficient. My heat went out just as the temperature is dropping into the low 30s. He called to schedule the appointment and arrived on time exactly when he said he would. He paid attention to detail and left no stone unturned checked every area to troubleshoot the problem. Reviewed every issue and reviewed any safety concerns. Made sure I understood every step of they way. Did not make a mess and very respectful of your home. I highly recommend James at this company you will have peace of mind with quality results.

This is the second time James has come to fix my AC units. He is on time, has good communication, is professional, and courteous, knows what he is doing, and has saved me hundreds of dollars from qoutes from other HVAC companies. I would give him 6 stars if I could.
