A/C Medic Heating & Air LLC

A/C Medic has serviced our HVAC system for the last few years. When the 30 year old unit finally died, there was no question as to who would replace the unit. Eric, was professional and provided competitive pricing. The installers were on time, efficient and curtious. Overall, my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the outcome and will gladly recommend A/C Medic for all HVAC work.

I called this morning to fix our heater (which broke the first cold night) and AC Medic came out and got our system running the SAME DAY!

I cannot express my appreciation for the same day service and professionalism we received! He took the time to explain all of our options and the issues that we were up against and made a very stressful situation pleasant! We will never go to another company!

Let me start by saying that I rarely leave reviews. I do not have time to review every mediocrity life throws my way; a service or a product has to be exponentially great or absolutely terrible. The following review most definitely qualifys as the former (exponentially great).

Our entire system was old (19 years), broken down and leaking. Sunday, 7 October, after twelve days of 87 degree weather inside our home, I bit the bullet and began researching local HVAC companies. AC Medic's 101 five star reviews attracted my attention. As mentioned above, I don't often write reviews, but I read them a lot and I have never seen this before! I chose to contact AC Medic first. This was a Sunday after all, I was not expecting to hear back from anyone until Monday. But, a few minutes after utilizing the "contact me" section, I received an email from Eric Tappan...on a Sunday.

We exchanged 40 emails between Sunday and the next day. Why so many emails? Who cares, it was convenient and paper trails are awesome. The 40th email was Eric's confirmation that he would be at my house Tuesday morning to begin the work.

Tuesday morning, I received a text message telling me Eric and his team would arrive between 9 and 10. They arrived at 9:13. Eric and his team were nothing but professional and courteous throughout the entire install.

Once completed, Eric allowed himself to lower his professional demeanor a bit and we joked and chatted for a few ticks.

Over all, I was nothing but impressed by AC Medic's service, timeliness, attention to detail and courteousness. Eric Tappan certainly earned this 5 star review and I've no doubt he will earn many more.

A/C medics were very quick and polite. The installers were very friendly and experienced, and they went above and beyond fixing little things things that others would have left alone. I had recently injured my back so they even got some boxes out of my attic for me. Eric Tappan, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us all our options and even dispelled some misconceptions I had from other company's less truthful approaches. I will continue to use A/C medic and recommend them to my friends.

A/C Medic came to my rescue on a Sunday at 5pm and fixed my broken air conditioner in no time. Excellent service and very reasonable! I recommend this company to everyone! By the way I'm in Greer SC...😁 I will recommend Eric and this company to everyone!

I had AC Medic out to give me a quote on a new AC and Heating replacement. For the equipment I chose, I found the quote very reasonable. We scheduled a time to perform the replacement. They showed up on time and had everything completed by late afternoon. The temperature in the house was unbearable at that time. I set the thermostat at 76 deg. and overnight that temp was achieved and is constant even though the outside temp is 97 deg today.
Money well spent. Thank you

We bought our home new, but the parts had been pieced together by another well known air conditioning company. We had multiple problems, so we called another company. We employed A/C Medic to install our new unit. Eric Tappan, owner of A/C Medic explained our air return air vent needed to be enlarged. This increased the efficiency of our cooling system so much! He also recommended another filter that helps with allergies. Then we had him install a unit in a newly built garden room. Our electric bill actually went down even though we now have more square footage! He is honest, timely and trust worthy, rare qualities. It is without hesitation we would recommend A/C Medic Heating & Air Conditioning.

My wife called and said our air was out on a 100 degree day, I called AC Medic and spoke with Eric he came right out and fixed my problem. As well I had him service the other AC while he was there. Highly recommended him His prices were fair and he was a super nice guy! GREAT SERVICE!

Got Eric and AC Medic name from builder friend. Response time was very fast. Very professional and knowledgeable. Did not rush through helping us but took appropriate time to fix issues. Will definitely call Eric again with heating/air trouble. Thanks again Eric!
