Asked the technician to repair the leak on my unit. Instead he filled the unit with Freon without repairing the leak cost me over $700. Now it hasn’t been 90 days and I’m spending more money due to an incompetent technician.

Can't recommend Cool Care, Columbia, SC. Unless you want to pay through the nose for repairs find another company. I understand that they have overhead that needs to be factored into pricing but it appears to me that their charges are still way higher than they should be. Wanted to charge me $375 (which I declined) for water heater repair that all parts were still under factory warranty. This was weekday rate not weekend or holiday. That was in addition to the $100 diagnostic fee...so wanted $475 labor cost to repair a tank water heater. Another company was called and properly diagnosed the problem and came back when parts were received with total charge of $135.

Cool Care Technicians are some of the best in the industry. I use this company regularly to inspect houses for my clients and they are very thorough.

Several months ago Cool Care came out to replace the entire duct system on one side of my house as well as correcting problems with return sizing. They were excellent, and the airflow has been so much better throughout the house.
Today John and Bryant came to the house in order to move a duct and AC vent on the other side of the house due to a remodel of the pantry. They were super polite, quick, and efficient. Exactly what I needed and ahead of the schedule I expected. John and Bryant did a great job eliminating the mess from cutting sheetrock and everything was as good or better than when they started. Cannot say enough good things about both trips to my house and the work done.
THANKS!!!

John Ulness with Cool Care Heating and Air, hands down best heating and air technician we've ever used. We've been trying to get our heating fixed for over a year and he came in and handled the problem quickly. Extremely professional and intelligent. Will be 100% who we call if we ever have anymore issues. (I get the feeling we won't) 10/10 absolutely do recommend!!!!

The thing I appreciated the most about Cool Care was the excellent customer service. We are on the way to getting good results as well for our HVAC system, but Cool Care promised not to stop working until we were satisfied. They sent out multiple people, and really worked to make sure I felt good about all they were doing. I can't say enough about good customer service-that's what will make me keep coming back to Cool Care.

The technician, Clayton Curtin, called to say he could come early which was more convenient for us. He was professional and personable, changed batteries and filters, checked and serviced the unit. Gives us peace of mind to have the system checked every year.

I have been so impressed with this company. When all other HVAC companies have double and tripled their prices, Cool Care has maintained a reasonable price without sacrificing their professionalism. I am a real estate agent and call on Cool Care frequently to perform inspections and they are always on time, they provide reminders and a heads up phone call when the inspector is on the way. The office staff is top notch and answer the phones quickly and respond to my (probably too many) requests with patience and haste! What a combination! I will continue to use and refer others to Cool Care Heating and Air! Thank you for your wonderful work!
