AC stopped blowing cold on the hottest weekend of the year. I called Strine's as soon as they opened on Monday morning to make an appointment. By 9 AM my AC was fixed! (Compressor capacitor needed to be replaced). I also want to call out the tech, John B. He couldn't have been nicer. Overall an excellent experience and will definitely call Strine's again. Hopefully though I won't need to for a while.

Strine's called me at 7:45am to say their tech would be out today to review the problem with my furnace, but they didn't provide a time window for the tech to arrive. I finally called back after 12:00 to ask when or if the tech would be out. They told me that he would be on his way shortly. About 20 minutes later the tech called and said he was enroute to my house. A little annoying I had to sit around all day waiting for the tech to arrive, but once he did, everything went smoothly. Tech (Matt) was very knowledgeable and professional and provided some good advice and a quick fix to my furnace. I'd give Strine's 5 stars if they provided a window in which their tech would arrive. I can't believe I'm saying this, but at least Comcast gives you that window. I think Strine's should also.

Salespeople are awesome. They explained everything and more to me. The service was quick and they absolutely cleaned up the area. Couldn’t even tell they were there. They also send you a lunch cooler and yummy cookies. Can’t say enough good things about this company.

David diagnosed our A/C problem in under 10 minutes, contacted the shop, ensured new model digital thermostat would correctly function with our existing system, installed new thermostat, and explained everything he accomplished. Very professional!!

I used Strines at the end of last year. My a/c had stopped working. They came out, replaced a part and within a week or so, the issue had reoccured. I called and got a second appointment. At this appointment they recharged my a/c, promised all was resolved and left. The issue persisted. Third time someone comes out. Tells me that the problem is my a/c is leaking freon and that was the issue the entire time. They told me my options were to recharge again or they would red tag my a/c and I would need to spend 7 thousand dollars for a new whole system because you cant repair just the a/c. I felt that was extremely wrong. If my appliance is leaking freon then why should I pay for two recharges? Frankly I felt like I was ripped off for all the services up until that point and they threatened me with red tagging to avoid their mistaken diagnosis. Anyway, they reported the $200 in charges that I refused to pay for (as I had already spent $200 on pointless work) to the credit agency as $400. I hope you have better luck but my experience was that they cannot accurately diagnose problems and will blackmail you and misreport the debt to credit.

I've been meaning to post a positive review for a long time. My old furnace failed in early March of this year. I have travel obligations with my job and had to leave town a week later. This issue had to be fixed immediately. I called Strines in the morning, I was not an existing or previous customer. They were at my house 8 hours later. I had an estimate in 24 hours. The work was completed two or three days later, before I had to leave on my business trip. I looked over the work when I finally had the time. A big part of the job had to be done in my attic area. Every piece of insulation was put back in place. These guys did a great job, and did it quickly. They gave me an honest estimate--and truthfully they could have recommended a full A/C system replacement too-I would have agreed to it. Eric, the guy who did the estimate explained to me that it wasn't necessary at that time. This level of integrity deserves to be mentioned. When it comes time to do the A/C, hopefully in a few more years. The first and only call will be to Strines. Thanks very much guys. The new furnace is working beautifully. Martin Repsher, Yorklyn.

Yes, they were courteous and my friend recommended them. However, in my experience they had to come back and fix my heating system twice for what should have been right the first two times, and then charged me extra for it. I had to pay for their mistakes instead of them doing the right thing. I won't be using them again.

Lost heat last night and these guys were there within a few hours and the techs were great. They came in and diagnosed the problem within a short time , found the part needed and I was up and running VERY quickly. I will be added their number to my contacts. I believe the main techs name was Nate, very nice and professional, thank you!

I liked the serviceman who came to service my furnace, friendly and courteous. However be careful of any parts they supply as they overcharged me at least 4 times the value of the part. $215 for a $45 part. I would never ever hire this company again.

Was totally blindsided by the size of the heat pump installed on my property. Chad gave me a proposal on heat pump and furnace but never gave me any specs to the size of the unit ...also website gives dimensions for their older units ...the size of the unit I received was half the size. Now I have a unit that is almost 5 feet high on my very small deck behind my 1,000 square foot condo. I expressed my horror to the installer, the sales person, the manager, etc. and nothing will be done other than if I pay for both systems. They state that they want their customers to be totally satisfied and will keep doing their job until they get it right. What a joke! Bait and switch is all I can say.
