Affordable Fixes Heating Cooling Plumbing

Prior to reaching out to affordable fixes, I called 2 other companies. The other companies gave me very expensive quotes and weren't very caring about my situation. I then called affordable fixes and spoke to Val. I told him that I have 3 kids in the house and 2 of them were under 4 years of age and my heater is not working. Val was very simpathetic to my situation and told me that he will send his crew to my house within the next 3 hours. I am very greatful that with an hour and a half his technician was at my house analyzing the situation. Less than 3 hours from my initial call, my heater was running smoothly and my kids were starting to warm up. I am very impressed with their service, consideration and most importantly their price! Would highly recommend this company!

After a receiving a botched job of ductless units installation, we began having problems shortly after. Today Val and his colleague came out (showed up on time) and completely fixed our disastrous problem. They were fast, efficient, identified the problem right away (and fixed it on the spot) respected our household by wearing shoe covers, didn't low ball us on cost, and most importantly did an amazing job. I would recommend this company to everyone. Great job guys, thank you Val (sorry we didn't get your colleagues name).

Great service and quality! Installed a radiant floor heating system at my crib. The unit was faulty from the manufacturer and Val came back everyday until manufacturer sent out a rep to replace the unit. Very competent and high attention to detail. Also had them install 2 heaters at my business and they were in and out in 1 day - crushed it!

My AC was down for 3 days, and I couldn't find anybody to fix it. I found Affordable Fixes LLC on Google and called them to get the help. They were able to come over within 2 hours and replace the part and my AC was up and running within 1 hour. Their service fee was very very very reasonable. From now on, I won't call anybody but this company.
It is difficult to find an honest AC company in Philadelphia but I would recommend Affordable Fixes LLC 120% to anyone.

I sent a service tech for my mothers ac unit, which stopped working. During the evaluation he was asked multiple times how much the work would cost prior to starting the work, so they would know before hand. He refused to answer, said he had to buy a part then he would know. He went and got the part and started working outside before they knew he came back, basically forced the work on then and charged almost 700 dollars. I will be filing a complaint.

To follow up on your response....you said the price was agreed on?? That's a complete lie, we weren't told the price before you started the work at all! I talked to you when you first got there and asked specifically, you said you'd let us know as you had to get a part. Then I asked again when I was on the phone with my mom and you were hesitant to say anything about it, acting like you weren't done evaluating. You were deceptive about how much it would cost from the beginning

I asked for them to go out to do a service call on my property to see why the heater was not cutting on and so also do a maintenance on the system. I was never told how much the maintenance cost yet they did the maintenance and wants to charge me $300. Pricing was supposed to be given prior to anything to be done but was never was and now they want to charge me for a service tht i never knew the cost of it. I would have never picked them if i knew the cost of it.
Update: Valerie the alleged owner called me stating that they have been trying to call me all morning which was a lie. I called them to make payment and then i was given this outrageous price. When asked ro speak to a supervisor this is what valerie texted me....Good afternoon, my name is Valerie and I am a manger at Affordable Fixes I have been trying to reach you to discuss your unpaid invoice. If I do not hear back from you by the end of today a mechanical lean will be placed against your property for nonpayment.... She swore that someone told me the price and that i was at the property and gave consent even though they were informed that i wouldnt be at the property. Valerie stated that they can just put leans on people properties if they choose to even of they are wrong. Horrible horrible company....dont ever deal with these people.

Wonderful experience working with Affordable Fixes! When my home warranty was being difficult, I contracted AF to do HVAC work. Unlike other companies, AF was responsive to the call and flexible.
