Had them come out and replace my stack pipe, which was leaking. It was from the basement up to the second floor, behind concrete and the wall. Angel and his assistant did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything. I called about 5 places for an estimate - they all had theories about the issue - even though I knew it was the stack pipe - and some quoted me ridiculously high "plumber" prices in order to diagnose. Angel knew right away what the issue was and gave the lowest estimate as well. Fantastic job!

I had my furnace fixed by Jim on the very first day it broke and it was great. Then my water heater died after a month. I personally requested Affordable fixes from my home warranty because of the good experience we had last time. And again, they proved to me that they are reliable and dependable. Jim tried to fix it initially, but the water heater really needed to be replaced. Val came the following day, on a weekend and did the replacement. He had been honest on what additional cost I will be paying and was able to give details about the new replacement and its advatanges versus my previous water heater. Val came the same day to appraise and recommend action. We decided on a replacement heat pump system and it was scheduled and installed within a few days. Everyone in the organization is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The installers did a terrific job and the house is warm again! And, the price is very reasonable. I had to call Affordable Fixes when the company from whom I actually purchased my central air told me they could not come until August for the repair...it was May 28th when I called.

Anyway, boy am I glad they were jerks, because I found Affordable Fixes. From the woman who answered the call to Val who ended up being my service person, I knew I had found a professional and quality company.

Val was nothing less than magnificent. I live on a small Street in Bella VistaiVista and it is no easy task to get up on a roof of a row house without getting electrocuted. But Val was persistent in trying to find a way up on that roof...and we ultimately found a way through one of my neighbor's backyards.

Val explained everything to me as to the issues with the unit and the repair that needed to be done. He worked meticulously and diligently.... and now I have air and I am ready for tomorrow's 91°

I first had Val out about 6 years ago to replace an outdoor spigot. We got to talking and I told him about my AC issues. Our system wasn't cooling well, especially on the second floor. I had had other companies out. They just told us we shouldn't expect the system to reduce the temperature by more than 10 degrees from outside. What? Val thought that was ridiculous, too, and I had HIM come out to service the 14-year-old system. When he left, it ran like new. One of those 95-and-humid Philly weeks, and I slept better than I had in years. It had simply never really been serviced right. The price was fair, and he didn't try to sell me anything other than what I needed.

Fast forward to this past week. The old system finally died. Val and his guys replaced the whole system--that's two units on the roof and two in the house--in a single day. There were a few issues of fine tuning that had to be done, but he was attentive to them and got them fixed up right away. High quality, fair, and honest. I expected more from this place wanting a repeat customer. Just interested in charging fees. I had a service call in January of last year and then called to get service on 07/11/22, only to hear extra charges just to come out.
