Affordable Fixes Heating Cooling Plumbing

I had an issue with my shower’s hot water handle not turning. I called Affordable Fixes to help identify and fix the problem. During the initial visit they determined that the components in question were too old to safely replace a single part and that a full replacement was recommended. I was planning to renovate the whole bathroom, so I was not interested in a full replacement. I wound up removing and replacing the faulty stem on my own.

While I was initially disappointed that affordable fixes was not able to help me with the “band aid” repair I was looking for, they did a very commendable job of following up after the fact and reimbursing me for the fees that did not contribute to the replacement work I took on and offered to assist in any future work at a discount.

I really appreciate their effort and willingness to make the situation right after my initial experience was less than anticipated.

I hired this team to vent my new macerator pump in the basement. They were able to provide a solution that worked even thought the vent stack was on the other side of the basement. Nick and his partner were professional and efficient.

They come out and fix or service my HVAC system once a year. Their guys are always fast, professional and they don’t bang me over the head with the cost. It’s also nice when they where little booties in the house, so courteous.

After calling a few of the high ranked places in the area, I was able to have the most accommodating experience with this company. I spoke with Nicole who took care of me and made sure I received expedited service. Unlike other company reps I spoke with, she knew exactly what I needed to look for and was able to identify exactly what I needed over the phone. The maintenance person came on time and worked fast. I would highly recommend this company for services.

I have had the best experience with this company TWICE! In January, I had issues with my heating system and they came out, diagnose the issue and fixed it the next day. I had to call them this morning for my AC unit, literally called at 8am when I woke up and they were here by 9:30am and fixed the issue within a hour. I have a young child with asthma so I definitely needed the AC fixed quickly and they were able to do that. They explained the whole process, charges and I could pay right from my phone. They came with masks and took every measure to maintain social distancing. The receptionist is always nice, pleasant and on point. Val and the crew are always on time, pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

One of the best if not the best experiences I've had working with a plumber. Explained everything they were about to do and why it had to be done. They returned a couple of times to bleed the radiators without hesitation or attitude. Were quick to return phone calls and always arrived on time. Both Val and Jim were very professional, as was Valerie who answers the phone. Would highly recommend using them.

My central air unit stopped working due to wiring during a heatwave. I called this company at 10am, they had someone at my residence by 130p. Jim the tech was helpful and courteous.
