Affordable Fixes Heating Cooling Plumbing

I had an issue with the company which turned out to ba a computer / software issue. They took the time to call me to made things right. The real heart of a company is how they handle issues when things go wrong and Affordable stepped up to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I'll recommend them for your plumbing / HVAC needs.

Called because our water heater was leaking. Nicole was amazing & informative. She was able to schedule us in for the next morning and the guys who came out were amazing too. New water heater installed and hot water working within a few hours. Definitely will be using again.

We opted for a complete replacement Trane unit. Val and company came quickly to install the unit but the Installation is not complete. The AC works beautifully but furnace is not done. Exterior ducting still needs to be run, a large opening was left in the return duct work and we are missing the compressor unit weather cover. The compressor pad was replaced but they left the old 200 pound slab behind. Val said he'd take the pad when he returned to complete the work but not until heating season. That's too long to leave it lying around. Lastly, I was told that the copper AC lines from my old unit were still perfectly usable and replacing them would be a needlessly laborious job. I agreed and the cost of the new line was removed from the bill. I was dismayed, however, that there was no reduction in the actual cost of the job, only the cost of the hardware. Val's response was that labor price is fixed per job. I consider Val to be a fair man but do not agree with fixed fee labor as I think running a new line would have taken 2 men a good part of an hour. In my opinion an adjustment for labor time not used would have been a nice gesture.

This is the second time we have used Affordable Fixes for HVAC installation. I am very happy with quality of the equipment. I can't comment on the price since, having used Val before, we trusted him to be fair. I'd consider raising my review if Affordable Fixes re-considers it's pricing and the job gets completed in a timely manner.

Nik our technician was amazing! He was able to fix the leaking shower and gave a recommendation to install new updated pipes in the backend of the shower! The water was not getting hot enough and I was able to call Nik and came right out to fix the issue with the handle not pumping enough hot water through. Nik was extremely helpful and totally recommend Affordable Fixes!

Really had a tough time getting any company to help us clean up another company’s work. Affordable Fixes helped us out without question. I contacted the company for HVAC maintenance a tech named Val came out within 2 hours and got the job done within 2 hours. Highly recommended! He was very nice, got the job done quickly and provided me with information for the fix.

My experience with Affordable Fixes was 100% positive. I had two blocked drains and they sent someone out the day I called. One clog was pretty easy to clear but the other was a lot tougher and required a longer snake. My plumber, Bill, arrived with the right equipment to get the job done. He explained everything he did and was very nice about it. I was very happy with his work, it came with a 90-day guarantee, and the price was reasonable, too. They really do live up to their name!

I had work done multiple times by workers from Affordable Fixes. They are always on time, courteous, respectful of your home and professional.
I had a boiler system replaced and Val came out and saw to it that things were done properly. One of the components or switches on the new boiler system they installed was faulty though it was brand new. I informed them of this via a phone call a few days later when I noticed and they worked with my schedule to come right back out to replace the piece. The install was very clean as well.
I understand it's a demanding line of work, but they are pretty pricey as far as value is concerned. However, if you need things done right, I would definitely give them a call before mannny other places.

Affordable had installed a new toilet as well as replaced a furnace a few years back. Both are still working now without any trouble. The Tech was in and out in less than an hour. The replacement is working now without any trouble and that's what I wanted and what you get when they do a job. Work done right in a timely manner - money well spent.
