We had an issue with the refrigerant line in our furnace/ac system. They were able to get here a day earlier than expected and gave us a transparent quote. They ended up having to replace an extra part related to the blower motor (which was something I suspected because it's actually how we knew something was wrong with the unit, but didn't want to give them an excuse to upcharge me if I was wrong) and they just billed the difference for the parts. After the system was back up and running, I noticed the unit was dripping. They came back within the hour, unclogged the condensate drain, and as you'd hope (but wouldn't necessarily expect these days) didn't charge us another dime. 5/5 Would definitely recommend.

Top notch installed a new heat pump system last year in my home. during this time on two occasions they let out the cats (we only found out because we found them wondering the neighborhood). They also unplugged our box freezer in the garage to plug in a device needed to install the system. never plugged it back in and we found out because the popsicles melted out of the unit (staining our garage floor). After the install the unit leaked water and it took multiple (and I mean multiple) attempts and visits by the company to find a fix. The neighbors were commenting on how often their van was at our house. About 1 year later the leak came back and when we called them to come take a look (again, I had to call from my work phone as they didn't answer calls from my phone and did not return my messages) they said "we don't do heat pumps anymore." Talk about taking pride in your work huh

This morning I called this company to ask about a posted property in my hometown. The sign on the window says the building had recently been winterized by "Top Notch Heating & Air". The guy who answered the phone was instantly bothered and unpleasant. When I first asked about the property he said "yeah" as if he was familiar. Once I began presenting specific information he got more bothered and began using vile profanity. He eventually changed his story and claimed he had no knowledge of the property but I didn't believe it considering his initial response. Ultimately, the called ended by him telling me to "go f*** myself" and me responding with "merry Christmas".

So, whoever is in charge of this company (hopefully) not the guy who answered my call, please take note. As a former business owner, I know it is a luxury to be able to engage in commerce with the open public. Although, dealing with the public is often stressful and challenging, as owners, we must always maintain gratitude and respect for our callers/customers. Especially in today's day and age when the public has an open venue like the internet to expose the ugly truth of some people and operations. The man who just took my call is a disgrace to your operation and mankind, in general. He must have gotten a lump of coal from Santa.

Lastly, the reason I was inquiring is because I know the home that was posted had already been winterized by the administrators of the estate. The had already drained all the water lines in the building and secured the water consuming fixtures. Boiler, rads, water heater, toilets...it was already done before this fine operation went in. As such, I was prepared to ask how much this company billed the bank that hired them for services that they didn't need to perform. I'm guessing, considering the character of the man I just spoke to, they didn't just send a note to the bank saying they're wasn't any work to do.

Buyers beware!!! If you want to get robbed and told to "go f*** yourself" then make sure to call Top Notch Heating & Air

One star for showing up. Our furnace was still not working after he left. Never introduced himself. Replaced a capacitor which I later tested and found no fault with it (no swelling, no smell, metered out fine). Worst experience with a home visit ever. Worker almost yelled at my wife and I that there was no smell in the house from furnace (there still is). Left us without fixing anything.

Perfect service, excellent work. We got an entire AC unit put in and the old one removed. Patrick and his crew were very polite and efficient. I really appreciate the affordable price and warranty information. No mess left behind. Highly recommended.

Called hoping to have them come out to service the furnace in my rental unit. Originally he said they could fit me in for the next stop and inquired about payment. He stated since I would be a first time customer I would need to have a credit card number ready for him. He also mentioned after 430 it would be time and a half. As this was last minute I did not have my card on me. I ended the call letting him know i would sort it out and to please go to the house. I tried calling him back an hour later and the call went to voice mail which was full. Around 4:45 we get a call from them saying they can now go there but we need to pay the higher rate. He then made comment on how cold it would be tonight. I then tried to inquire what the service fee covered (hours etc) and he hung up on me, i guess for asking too many questions.

Top Notch helped us on several occasions - fixed our furnace, did some maintenance on our air conditioning system, did a couple of "handyman" jobs and gave me some free advice on a water pressure problem. They resolved all of our issues and I found them to be reliable, punctual, professional and affordable.

Excellant job!! Seventy year old furnace (tappen) in a house I bought about 2 years ago. Knew it would go sooner than later!! Woke on a friday with the blower stuck on. Called Bill when I got home and was there Saturday to look at the old steamboat. Quoted a price and eased my mind. Crew did a great job. Got to my home Monday at 9 am as promised. Done by 3pm. Explained all the work and knowledge to keep it running for a long time!!!! Nothing but good, honest and professional people.

Wow is all I have to say. I just purchased a complete heating and cooling replacement and they scheduled me for the same week. Mr. Reilly answered all of my questions up front, and then again when I started to second guessing myself. The work crews were courteous and professional. They finished up each day rnght when they said they would. They laid down drop cloths everywhere and I wouldn't have been able to tell where they were working if I hadn't seen it myself. A+, 5/5, two thumbs up.

In January, my furnace crapped out on us in the middle of the night. Talked to Bill and he said someone would get to us as soon as possible. I left a voice mail to my work, figuring I'd need a half day to be here for them in the morning. They were here and gone before the time I even leave for work. I still took my half day - I just had heat and wasn't sitting around waiting in my winter coat like I thought I'd be. Good guys. Respectable. Kind. Even fussed over my dog. Plan to use them for yearly tuneups.
