Top Notch Heating & Cooling

I highly recommend using Top Notch Heating & Air Conditioning. They do an excellent job and they are professional. Bill Reilly is always prompt and does a thorough job. I use them all the time to clean and inspect my furnace every fall.

Bill Reilly did a great job replacing the motor in our hot water heat furnace. He clearly communicated our options and completed the worked quickly. Great service! We will use Top Notch for any future heating needs.

Mr. Reilly and his son did a superb job on my new furnace and A/C installation. Despite having more than a day's work to do, they remained and finished the job the same day, installing both the furnace and A/C. Top Notch just installed a new Air Conditioner for me. The price was very competitive,
we research the Goodman model which had very good feedback. The job was done quickly with minimum disruption to our lives. Looking forward to a hot summer to enjoy this new ac.

Called Top Notch, he was able to come within 2 hrs. My furnace was blowing just cold air, I had a faulty circuit board that wouldn’t send voltage to the gas valve. He looked at the quicker, simpler, cheaper fixes first instead of working backwards. Very professional and easy to talk to. Was able to use a used board that he had for half the price and still gave me a one year warranty on it. Rewired and fixed in an hour! Even noticed a drain hose problem that would probably give me problems down the road so he fixed that as well. Would recommend Top Notch for any repairs. I hope not to see him until I get a new furnace but if anything is needed I would definitely call them again.

I've used Top Notch for a few years for my rentals HVAC. They're pretty responsive, haven't ever tried to sell me on work that didn't need done, and have competitive pricing. They do get petty busy and I've gotten the cold shoulder a few times though.

I have used top notch for both air conditioner and furnace replacement and repairs. They are the best by far in pricing and professionalism. I have recommended them to several neighbors and friends. You won’t be disappointed. They are the best.

Turned around in my driveway after doing work at a neighbor’s house; as I have two LARGE WELL LIT SIGNS saying “NO TURN AROUND”. If you’re doing work at someone’s home, use THEIR driveway. No excuse for that. It wasn’t like they went up a small amount they were basically at the front door. Just ridiculous.

Several years ago, a technician from thiscompany came out to service our furnace. He was an older gentleman, although I do not recall his name. He cleaned out the drain of the furnace and reworked the entire PVC drain system. When he did so, there was more than a 4 inch rise over the course of the final PVC drain pipe. When I questioned him about this being inclined toward backing up water into the unit, he scolded me and told me that he knew what he was doing and that this was the correct way to run the drain. Needless to say, the unit developed issues and it rusted the entire collection pan of the unit out. Normally, I do not complain about work done at my home, even when mistakes are made. I allow a company to make them better and move on. But in this case. I did not contact Top Notch, as I felt the technician not only did the wrong thing, rather he also made me as the homeowner feel as though I was in the wrong. During the visit, he also upsold me the brand sold by your company. Had the visit gone well, I would've purchased your brand. But in the end, I knew something was amiss and that I should go through another contractor. Gerard H/C in Moon did the work, if you disbelieve my account of the work. As a company, I feel as though this feedback is important, although I have nothing whatsoever at all to gain from this.

Top Notch Heating and Air installed a new Goodman AC, Heating and filtration unit in March 2013. The Heating unit worked great and was pretty quiet. I was concerned about the AC unit not being powerful enough but I trusted Bill Reilly's recommendation on the 93seer. My home as been very comfortable throughout, even on the few 90 degrees days that we had. We are pretty happy with the unit and service. Would recommend Top Notch Air for heating and cooling services in Pittsburgh as well as Goodman(ac/heating hardware).
