The service technician was very polite and professional. That being said I’m just going to let the price (and quote) speak for itself.
Replace broken kitchen sink drain (1 pipe, no welding requires, took approximately 15 minutes): $359
Quote to tighten bolt for faucet (no parts needed, just tighten the bolt): $100
Service completed for 6 Hilltop Road, Levittown, on 04/10/2023.

We received Kenny Minutolo as our plumber, to replace our garbage disposal in our kitchen as well as to investigate why our kitchen sink and washer drains were backing up (both are right next to each other). He started out with an assessment via running water through the sink and a rinse cycle in the wash. He plungered the sink drain to force and debris out, which worked at first. I recommended a second rinse cycle, just to double check, am I’m glad I did. We noticed the water did back up a bit, enough to splash out onto the basement floor. Kenny got onto the roof and examined the roof plumbing air vents with a camera snake and noticed a clog in the one, and after using a power auger with a heavy-duty coil, was able to unblock it. He double checked again, and water ran through everything fine. He then worked on getting the garbage disposal removed and installed the new one. Unfortunately their shop did not have exactly the same model, ours having 1 horsepower and the model they carried having 3/4 horsepower, but it was sufficient. He then looked at our smaller bathroom sink drain leak (I mentioned this to him after he got here), and attempted to unscrew the leaky nut in question. He did not want to break the threads, which would have left a hole in the wall, and so we left that, I will try a silicone caulking he suggested. The whole process ran from approx. 9:40-1:30. The total was $88 main drain special + $69 dispatch fee + $647.05 disposal with installation = $804.05
Pros:
-Well stocked vehicle and toolbox
-Was willing to explain when asked questions
-Arrived on time (perhaps a bit early)
-Kept area clean and cleaned up debris
-Double checked work to verify that it worked
Cons:
-Did have a cheaper disposal system than what we would’ve wanted

WE ARE SO IN LOVE WITH OUR NEW KITCHEN
When we met with Doug, there were some things that I definitely wanted in my new kitchen. This included moving the sink and dishwasher to the island, taking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room for a more open concept and installing a pot filler. Other than these things, I was at a loss as to how to make our kitchen look great and be more efficient. Doug’s design was perfect. There was not one thing we changed on it. He helped us with the cabinets, counters and backsplash. Everything tuned out better than we could have ever dreamed.
Sam was our project manager. He was calm, friendly and totally professional. He always made sure things moved along and everything was cleaned up at the end of the day. He always kept us informed during the process. Kyle, who worked closely with Sam, did a little bit of everything from electrical work to installing cabinets and laying new Cortec Plus flooring in the kitchen, dining room and foyer as well as installing new baseboard and window trim. A new sliding door and window were also installed. Luis, the electrician, did a masterful job of installing all the lighting in the ceiling, under the cabinets and in a new display hutch in the kitchen which now shows off my mother’s cobalt blue glass dishes as well as the many, many receptacles all over the kitchen. The plumbing for the sink and dishwasher were moved by Nick and he also hooked up the water line to the refrigerator. Jenny, the McHales Cares Coordinator, made frequent calls or texts to make sure everything was going smoothly.
You always hear about kitchen remodels and how long it takes and what a nightmare it is, etc. Our experience was totally the opposite. From the arrival of the McHales trailer in our driveway with everything needed for our new kitchen inside, to the completion a month later, the process was totally seamless and worry-free, all thanks to Doug, Sam, Kyle, Luis, Nick and Jenny. We have already recommended McHales to friends and family for kitchen renovation work.
Every day we walk into the kitchen and marvel at how much we love it. It is absolutely a dream come true.

Hired McHale's to replace a sewer line under my concrete foundation INSIDE MY HOUSE. Couldn't be happier. The guys who showed up were professional and treated my house like their own. Joel, Kenny, Anthony, Austin, Zach, Jim, Joe, Brian and Davey---every one was there to get the job done right---Work area was always clean. Work was A++. They answered every question and concern. They cordoned off the area they worked in with plastic and almost no dust escaped to the rest of the house. I highly highly recommend these guys. Thank you McHale's!!!!

Chris was excellent. Everything was checked and explained thoroughly. Chris noticed the furnace filter dirty even though just replaced 3 1/2 weeks ago, but filthy it was. Had one on hand which Chris therefore changed for me. :: He made suggestions and let me know all the info will be emailed to me with a quote to replace whole unit, or repair any essential large parts which may have looked “iffy” on the furnace. Mainly coil cleaning needed on AC. :: :: ::Grateful to have had HVAC check by a knowledgeable, helpful, and informative technician! KE/Newtown

McHale's was fantastic moving our plumbing so that we could finish remodeling our kitchen. They performed their service beyond our expectations and managed to complete the project as soon as they came to give us an estimate. Joel was our lead professional and was tremendous. We'd definitely recommend McHale's to anyone who needs work done.
