Very disappointed with their service. I called them for a tankless water heater tune up and they came knowing that tankless heaters don't really need a tune up (they told me). A day after the technician left the tank started leaking. I called them again and they came to see the problem and they told me they can't do anything because the issue needs to be resolved by a plumber. So at this point they left me with a problem and they didn't provide a solution or recommend a plumber. Don't hire them!!!!!

We just recently had Columbia Heating and Cooling replace our 28 year old furnace. I talked with two other companies first and couldn't achieve a "comfort zone" in either conversation. Columbia's estimator, Marlena Meedom, exhibited exactly the can-do attitude that I was looking for. The new Carrier furnace has eliminated all the cold spots in our home and runs way less time in a day than the old one. The thermostat also starts earlier than the set time in the morning so that it reaches the desired time by the time we get up, rather that kicking on then. Overall, "above and beyond the requirement" describes my experience with the installers, Matt and Jake. The only down side is that the post that is required in front of the unit because it's in the garage isn't properly set. It wobbles a bit. I will be following up with Marlena this coming week to make sure that minor detail is addressed.

I spoke with the receptionist and she told me to send an email with the info she requested. I did and no response. I waited two days with no response so my wife calls. She apologizes, says no one is there to help and she will have a technician call the next day. Two days later, nothing. We called someone else and made an appointment on the spot. I'm glad we didn't trust our home repair to a company that can't even call someone back.

My furnace needed a tune-up and I was able to make an appointment right away. Jim called when he was on the way, greeted me with a friendly smile and serviced the unit quickly & efficiently.

Overall, my experience has been disappointing. I had two appointments with them, and both times they arrived 30 minutes to 1 hour AFTER the scheduled two-hour window. They did not bother to call beforehand to let me know that their technician was running late. Also, they did not follow up after the first appointment, as promised.
