Very professional company and very responsive. They installed our new AC unit and provided a fair and reasonable quote. I highly recommend their services.

Great Company. Zach did a terrific job in explaining all our options. He's up to speed about the newer units that are available which made it a no brainer on choice. Most importantly they did what they were suppose to do, give good service and quality of product.

** UPDATE - We never received any calls from the owner, that would have been nice. We do not hang up on people, not even sales calls.

Our company in Portland been a long time dedicated customer to these people for 20 + years and today THEY just decided to cut ties with US. How freaking weird is that?! All because we were about to sign a 3 year contract with them and realized we had paid a bill they said they would cover.

Instead of maybe just apologizing and saying they were sorry someone told me the wrong information, Alyssa argued with us over the phone and in email without ONCE every apologizing for the miscommunication.

We own/run a company in portland and would never ever treat a customer this way. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I was referred to Columbia Heating and Cooling through NW Natural. My furnace randomly stopped working (later found out it was because of a squirrel...) during some of the coldest nights we've had so far this winter. The tech showed up ahead of the scheduled time and was able to fix my furnace within 30 minutes. No complaints, and glad to have heat again.

I had an emergency with a new system they installed exactly 2 years ago. I called them only to have their phone network fail. this brand new under warranty a/c stopped blowing cold air and I had no way to reach their emergency tech cuz their phones were screwed. so they cost me over $400 when I had to contact another hvac company that I've used before. I was furious !

Columbia installed a new furnace in my rental house last year, the tenants are warm and the rent comes every month. The rebates for switching to gas from oil were pretty good, and made the whole thing a reasonable process.

Now for the "kicker", I just called them for another furnace at my house, and I want this five star review to get me some good pricing. Alyssa, the gal on the phone sounds super foxy.

She has her finger on the pulse of the operation, and answered every question I threw at her. Color me impressed!! Then the service techs that have shown up of on all of my various tune-ups and issues over the years, are professional, polite, and they too know what's going on in the heating and cooling world and are up on all the latest technology. The service techs arrived during the times on my appoinment window, and they always fix the issue. If you are looking for a heating and cooling company that will take care of you now and over the years, Columbia Heating and Cooling is who you want to call! They are stone cold ROCK STARS!!!

We put in a new Heating and air system and the crew was great. You pay more than some others but value is not based solely on price. I will hire Columbia again.

These folks are great to work with. The office staff was courteous, scheduling was timely, and the install was clean and well planned. We've used Columbia for twenty years and have never been disappointed.
