From the moment I called Columbia Heating and Cooling to the final thermostat install, Omar Rivera was the ultimate professional. To begin with, he came out within a couple of days to give me a bid, answered my questions, didn't give me the "there's a supply chain issues" excuse and had our A/C installed within a month. He personally came out and installed a wireless thermostat the next week. If you are looking for a quality heating and cooling company that communicates effectively, answers the phone and your questions while delivering a quality product then this company should be your first and only call. Good experience overall. They were able to pull in our install date, we got a good installer for our furnace, had a subsequent problem with our AC. Turned out to be unrelated to the furnace install, but they were very quick to schedule a technician who fixed it same day. I'd definitely recommend them.

We have an AC unit that is approximately 20 years old but it continues to run so we haven't replaced it. It wasn't cooling the house several weeks ago so we called to have it assessed and if it was still in decent shape serviced. The service rep said it was fine but close to end of life, though we could get another season out of it, serviced it and it worked again for a couple of weeks then died.

We were disappointed due to the money we spent to service it, but also understood that it is about 20 years old so we called Columbia back to schedule an appointment for a replacement and they offered to credit us the service fee toward the replacement. Further, Marlena Jarvis came to assess the replacement and determined that we actually didn't need a replacement yet but it was simply the capacitor that had blown, a $90 part.

Very honest people with a ton of integrity. She could have easily said we needed to spend the $5k to replace our AC unit and we wouldn't have been the wiser. Further, for them to also offer a credit due to the servicing was very commendable. We have had a bit of a jaded view of the overall Service Industry lately but Columbia Heating and Cooling proved us wrong.

Columbia installed our furnace years ago and we had them add A/C this year. They are prompt and responsive. We are pleased with their service, even though the weather has been too cool to turn on the A/C!

Very thorough service. Not cheap but they were prompt in fixing some problems with a brand new(to them) ac/heat unit. One star off because they cut massive holes in my walls to string the wire. You could have dropped a body through those holes.

They installed island range hood system, including the duct/vent and the exhaust. A kitchen remodeler had said he would need to make a 3ft by 3ft hole in the ceiling and remove some ceiling lights. Columbia team made a hole slightly bigger than the duct size (less than 1 feet) and made sure the remote fan was placed in attic. It has been an year and we are really happy about the service we received and price was very normal.

We received multiple quotes from various companies to install a brand new AC unit. Columbia was great from the start. We received a meeting and quote shortly after first contact. They were very clear and professional through the entire process ensuring we understood what we needed and the prices associated. We couldn’t say the same thing about some other companies. This was a big investment for our home so we really appreciated the transparency. The install team was also great to work with and very efficient. The end product was more than we expected and are very satisfied. Highly recommend Columbia for anyone in the market for AC or heating.

I called Columbia after receiving a highly suspect $5,200 quote from another HVAC professional for furnace replacement. Columbia spent time with me determining the details of the situation, and had a tech out to my house right away. They were professional, reasonable and knowledgeable. It turns out the furnace fix was simple not requiring replacement of my furnace at all, so $99 later instead of $5,200 later I'm now a lifelong customer. We asked them to install a new water heater and they've suggested cost saving measures all along the way, which is always greatly appreciated. Columbia is a fantastic and trustworthy company.

Our 1984 construction house had the ducts from 3 exhaust fans only venting into the attic. We were so glad when Columbia said they could correctly direct moist air to the outside. Zack came out to assess the project and also diagnosed issues with crushed vents in the attic and improperly sealed ducts in the crawl space. His professional background on HVAC systems was impressive and we had confidence Columbia would do a good job. It was a big project, but still cost was reasonable for all they did. Scheduling was efficient. Parker and Ryan were the hands on crew and they not only worked quickly and efficiently but Ryan discovered an additional hole in ducting which he repaired - yeah! We've used Columbia for annual servicing for years but this time we discovered their stellar problem solving skills.
