The Monday before the heat wave (6-21-2021) I turned on my AC in anticipation of the impending nightmare of 115 degrees and nothing!
Called around, all three weeks out so I tried a little DIY on line with capacitor replacement, nothing. Robben & Sons was recommended by a friend, called, they came out by that Wednesday, trouble shot it, bad board which he replaced the next day but nothing! Bad Fan motor. Our Service Tech "JJ" sat in our driveway, in his truck for 45 minutes trying to locate a motor but could not. By Friday he said he would call me Monday and update me. Monday came, JJ called as promised and told me he expedited me a motor and would be there Tuesday to install. Tuesday showed up and so did JJ with Motor ,installed it, even if it was one day after the 115 deg. heat. This company and JJ in particular, were out standing to say the least. We are going on their 15.00 monthly maintenance plan for AC and Furnace. Robben & Sons/ "J" - 110%!
Don't forget, we were all hot but these people WORK OUT IN IT ALL DAY!

Robben and Sons provide high quality HVAC maintenance service for us. Their staff is professional, skilled and friendly. They have always been timely in meeting our service needs.

We've used this company for years. They kept our old furnace, AC and heat pump going until it was finally time to start with a new one. Then they installed and have continued to maintain our new system. They are always prompt, courteous and give good, honest advice and service.

$187 and didn't even try. I had no heat so I was more willing to try an unknown outfit. I couldn't get a hold of my guy so I called Robben & Sons because they were listed as Navien certified technicians. The guy blamed the unit, said it was toast. Blamed the application, said it was not intended for the application. I was suspicious since I'm in the construction industry and the unit ran fine for 8 years. He poked around, didn't turn a screw, didn't wait on hold for the Navien reps, charged me $187. My guy came over and fixed the issue in 20 minutes, no parts no problems. Clogged flow control.

Our water heater died and we looked for a company who could respond to our situation ASAP. From my first conversation with Amanda and to next day install, things could not have gone better. The crew was knowledgeable, professional and answered all our questions. We highly recommend this company.

Great experience from the start. From friendly telephone response to a large crew who all know what they are doing. All this for a fair price. No wonder they have been in business for nearly 90 years!

My AC wasn't working and I called them in a panic. They were able to get someone out the very next day and accommodated my work schedule. Clarence was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly! My house was nice and cool in no time! Amanda and Connie have been very pleasant and helpful every time I called too!

Randy came to my home in Hillsboro on Jan 22,2020, to inspect my Gas Boiler-it is very old, but he understood exactly how it worked and checked it for me-he also told me that my water heater needed to be replaced-
He and JJ returned the next day with a water heater and had it installed within a few hours- they hauled the old one away and cleaned up everything-
I am a fairly recent widow and all this household maintenance has been overwhelming for me, but both Randy and JJ were both very kind and efficient and I am so thankful that I called Robben &Sons! I highly recommend them, not only for older homes like mine, but for any type of home furnace/water heater service! Thank you so much!

Quote for installation of a standard water heater was $1,200+ higher than competition. After a "tune-up" of Robben installed systems, by Robben technicians, both heating systems (steam boiler, forced air furnace) stopped working correctly within two weeks. Replacement of components (at my expense) did nothing to fix the problems. Promised an estimate for system repair/replacement-never happened. After a week of cold weather and space heaters, I took my business elsewhere.

Furnace broke on a Thursday and they had a new one up and running by Monday. They had the best deal out of the three bids I got. The salesman was honest and upfront and the installers were top notch.
