    My 21yo furnace wouldn't start last Winter. Nice young fellow came late at night and got is started - warned my there other issues. A few weeks later I was discussing a furnace replacement w/ them, and they tried to dissuade me from replacing the AC! Once they got it apart - it seems the AC HX was dripping & rusted the internals ofeverything. So AC & Furnace were both replaced. They were professional, honest, quick (it was sort of urgent), the installation work was excellent, and the price was decent. New American Standard system works better than the old Carrier ever did btw. I highly recommend Kimmel H&AC.

    Several years ago, I would have rated them 5 stars. They did some repair and maintenance on my HVAC politely and competently, causing me to trust them completely. In the last six months, they have replaced my water heater and furnace/air conditioner. Unfortunately, communication with technical people at the company, the ones who can answer questions about the equipment that is best for your home and how it functions, is next to impossible. E-mail goes unanswered and voicemail/messages left are ignored. Very disappointing.
    Their prices are good, installers do a good job, schedulers are helpful. The technical and sales staff are hurting the reputation of the company. If you don’t mind having your requests for information ignored, this is your company.

    UPDATE: A few days after this post, Kimmel sent out a technical expert who readily answered my questions about my new HVAC. Since I have never had such a technologically advanced (super high efficiency, variable speed furnace and AC) unit before, I was not sure how it should work or even if it was working properly. For example, before the visit, I would reduce the temperature setpoint on the thermostat a few degrees for the comfort of guests or workers at my house and the temperature in the house would not change even hours later. And it is not because it was too hot outside or that my house is not properly insulated. As Brandon explained on the day he came out, the system requires a change in the setpoint of 4 degrees or more to respond in a timely fashion. Also, he found that the technicians who installed the units had made a setting in the hardware that left the system sort of ‘underpowered’ making it harder to respond quickly to changes at the thermostat. He also told us about the importance of keeping the circulation mode on all the time (which keeps the blower fan operating at 50% speed 24/7). Not something I would have thought to do nor read in any of the technical manuals that came with the unit.
    So, I am much happier now because our HVAC operates the way we expect it to now. The only puzzling thing now is how the technician can claim that he received no messages from me (or my wife) despite e-mail (around the time of the sales call) and repeated voice mail/direct conversation with the receptionist.

    Dustin came out on a Sunday (no emergency charge) and fixed my AC. Very thorough and very fair price. I appreciate this local company and highly recommend them.

    Jake did a terrific job of inspecting my furnace and answering all my questions. He did find a problem when he turned it back on and double checked with his supervisor to remedy the problem and ordered the new part and kindly set me up for installation of the part for the next day. I was highly impressed with his knowledge and the extra time he spent with me.

    Jake, the tech from Kimmel was on time, and professional. He explained what he was doing and then went over the results of the test and maintenance work at the end. I also appreciated he used shoe coverings when walking through the house so as not to track dirt from outside after looking at the AC unit. I will use Kimmel again for my annual furnace and AC maintenance needs.

    Kimmel came out and got our heat back working! It was freezing out and we have kids. They were here in 30 minutes of calling! Brandon was amazing, got the heat working again! Their whole team is great! Pricing is reasonable! Highly recommend, they have customers for life here!

    Kimmel came to our business within just a couple hours of us calling for the first time and accepted our invoice policy for payment after work completed as all maintenance bills are paid from a corporate office. Our furnace kept kicking on and off and would maintain temperature. The gentleman that came was very professional and precise and got the job done same day. He even had to go pick up a part since he didn't have it with him and came right back to finish the job. We will definitely call them again in the future and would recommend them to others as well.

    Excellent service. They got my humidifier connected & fixed the connection problem with my smart thermostat. Gentlemen were very professional ..filled me in on some things I need to do .. highly recommend them!!! Checked my furnace & filter as well.
