I was assigned this company through AHS. The service man was very unprofessional,and they tried to scam us through the home warranty by padding the ticket. All it needed was a new ignitor and the serviceman said he had to rewire the whole harness which was not covered by the home warranty. He was clearly lying.. They tried charging me $385, which seems to be a magic number for them (see other reviews here!) Stay far away from this company. I'm contacting the BBB Shame on you Frog. You are scam artists! No stars!
EDIT: We ordered a second opinion through the warranty company, and wouldn’t you know? They recommended a full replacement as the amount of parts needing replaced (not just the heat exchanger as this company quoted) exceeded the cost of a full replacement. Wow. Crazy. So, that got done today. If you have a warranty and they schedule you with these guys, save yourself the hassle, time and money and just request a different company immediately.
Tech came out to diagnose our HVAC unit through our warranty. I was apprehensive with the low rating but hey, it ain’t my call so went with it. Tech said entire unit was corroded and needed replaced. Sounded right since it was installed in 2008.
Then. Hell starts. We were supposed to be updated but days went by with no communication. We called our warranty company and they said they were never sent anything. It was 59 degrees in my house. We called Frog Pro and were constantly told a manager would call us back - they never did. We got the report back today. They’re quoting a heat exchanger (covered by warranty) and $1300 of additional work not covered. This isn’t at ALL what the tech told us. After reading reviews, this seems to be a consistent issue they pull.
We tried calling them today and of course, no answer. This company deserves the low rating. As someone who has worked in the apartment industry for over 10 years, I’d like to think I know what I’m talking about. This is not the company you want to work with. I should’ve trusted my gut instinct and requested someone more reputable.
Like many other reviews used them per AHS Warranty. Bad move was initially told needed a part that was not covered by AHS casting me $185 then would have to run my furnace in "fan on" instead of auto. Then told I needed furnace replaced so this was done to a tune of $1800 cost to me not covered by AHS. After furnace was installed had to gave Frogpro return to seal the holes in the sheet metal. After installation of the new used furnace I was ask to contact them directly since unit was still under warranty. Move ahead to today 6/30/2023 I've called them 5 times still no response and now I have to run my furnacevin "fan on" all the time to get cold air into my house plus I have water running out from underneath my furnace. I'm positive they'll say it is my fault and void my warranty costing me yet another $2500 or more to fix their screw up. I know frog (not) pro owners will not respond but if they do would you please hold up your end of the deal and fix your work.
Required to use Frog Pro as contractor for AHS home warranty. There was extremely poor communication from the get go. A year later we still don’t have any paperwork, receipt, or reason things are not fully fixed. Tried to contact Fro Pro with no success~multiple messages left. Home warranty says we need to continue to directly contact Fro Pro. Guess what?!! It has been impossible to get a call back from the office over the past 6 months. Disappointed and frustrated. I just want my receipts, a record of what service was done, and a copy of warranty for the heat pump and thermostat so I can move on with a different vendor.

Just said “yeah we could replace it.” Got the quote two days later. Already knew we were going to replace it but wanted to get a “discount” with our warranty. After reading reviews, I refuse letting this place touch anything. Got a new ac and furnace for the price they quoted for just AC. Paying out of pocket and ensuring work was done correctly was well worth the money. Run from this company.
My 32 year old Tempstar gas furnace died on Saturday. FROG visited on Monday and determined replacement necessary. They installed RUNTRU by TRANE on Friday. GREAT job FROG 🐸 - no TRAINWRECK here !!!
Please do not work with this company. Awful customer service. Do not hire them and if American Home Shield sends them to your house you can ask AHS to select a different company.
They claimed they sent me a quote 4 times but never did. Claimed it was in my spam but wasn’t. Each time I called they said they’d send it by end of day but that was not true. 0 stars do not work with them.
Like others, we have used Frog Pro Services only because our landlord contracts with AHS. Frog Pro Services came out after about a week, and the technician was professional and diagnosed the issue. Frog Pro Services has stopped returning all calls since, however, and a month later the issue remains unresolved. We are in a bind and do not have working air conditioning due to Frog Pro Services.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They do shoddy and dangerous work. We just had to have our furnace they installed worked on and the tech from a different company found a wire run behind a part of the furnace that gets really hot.
This company lied to me and my home warranty company about the cause of my broken ac unit. This is clearly an attempt to defraud me of several thousands of dollars as well as defrauding the home warranty company of processing the claim. The attached picture shows 2 ac units, the one on the right being the unit in question that stopped working several days ago. The unit is 33 years old. Frog Pro Services is claiming that vegetation and shrubbery around the unit have caused its failure. They reported this to the home warranty company who has denied the claim because of this clearly fraudulent diagnosis. This is for the unit on the right of the below picture. I have contacted an attorney to help resolve this matter and hold this company accountable for their actions. I also hope this review gives proper warning to anyone who is forced to use this company. I hope to have them removed from the preferred vendor list of my warranty company so they can no longer defraud customers. I will also be seeking whatever other damages this company is responsible for.
