Today was our first encounter with Stack, and I could not have been more impressed. The technician, Mike, was friendly, professional, and efficient, making sure to answer all of our questions and to address all of our concerns. Our dogs even liked him! Excellent customer service all around; thank you!
Stack Heating & Cooling is our go-to HVAC contractor and we've always had very positive experiences - but I'm posting this review to publicly recognize Vaughn, one of their service technicians (I think that's his title). He was extremely thorough and did not leave until the job was done and has exceptional people skills to boot. I really enjoyed working with him and am hopeful to see him on our next call! Thanks to the Stack team for keeping us cool this summer.
Our first experience with Stack was back in March after an outlet caught on fire. The technician arrived on time and completed repair within an hour. The 2nd experience was most recently when the AC went out. It was 92 out and 4:30 p.m. I used the emergency service. The technician was here within 1.5 hours and had the repair completed in no time. Thankfully the part was on the truck. Stack will definitely be our go to going forward. We have used other companies in the past and I can honestly say Stack far exceeds our past experience. Thank you
Dan did a wonderful job! Very professional and knew what he was doing. Went over and above. My furnace was out and they were at my house within 3 hours of my phone call. And thank you to the secretary, she was a pleasure to speak with. Highly recommend!!
Unfortunately we had some issues during our annual furnace service that forced us to change providers. The service started out with the technician stating multiple parts were bad and needed replaced although the unit was functioning fine prior to his arrival, including the brand new whole home humidifier they installed!! I called the office and requested a supervisor be sent to double check the work and he confirmed the parts were not bad and did not need replaced after all. I did end up having one part replaced which I now regret and should not have trusted the first techs advice. In the end the service took 4.5 hours and cost me money that did not need to be spent. The manager I since spoke to was customer service oriented and tried to make it right but the only way to get my money back was to apply it to additional services through them. With trust being lost that was not an option for us. We since got a second opinion and were assured the unit was functioning properly and were thankful we had the first job double checked. Since changing providers we have had other work done with significant savings. Love the concept of this big local company but unfortunately it all depends on what tech you get and how much knowledge you have yourself so you do not pay for unnecessary work. Always get a second opinion!
